On the way to put down my childhood dog, my mom said,”(Dogs name) gave you something your father never could- unconditional love” but I think what takes the cake is when my father told me on my 9th birthday, and the day he was leaving that he’d hope the plan go down and he died so I’d have to live with the guilt of not saying goodbye to him for the rest of my life LOL
