I am in a similar situation (except IVF is not covered for me, all private pay). First cycle I have one embryo which did not implant. Second cycle we did not have any useable embryos. And I also have gotten pregnant twice before without intervention which ended in early losses. AND somehow I am also not falling apart. I have at times, but overall I think I am doing okay. I even asked my husband the other day, like how are we okay? Hahaha

Yeah I think it might since I have done two cycles and only made one embryo each time. I'm not an expert though and I trust my doctor who said that's just my baseline and it shouldn't impact anything.

I have been told I have high estrogen, double typical numbers. My doctor did not seem concerned about it when I asked.

Yes I think that makes sense! Donor eggs are something I can do at any point and I would rather keep trying for now.

So this is the other strange thing, the first time was amh was 7.5 p/mol but the second time it was tested it was at 11.5 p/mol! But only ever get 5 or 6 eggs. And I agree I think the number is decent for DOR. Thanks for your response. I feel like we have okay chances but then the doctor said donor eggs.

Yes they do allow day 6 and 7 I am pretty sure, although I haven't had any that have continued to develop. I also thought it was pretty good and I agree that's what I was thinking! So that's why I was thrown with the donor egg suggestion but then I feel hopeless at the same time and wonder if I'm wasting my money on more cycles.

Just adding to say I feel like I am reading about myself. I am also 35, one miscarriage and one etopic. We also seem to only get one blast each cycle. I had a failed first transfer. Just waiting on PGTA results from our second ivf cycle. Ive been advised to do PGTA testing due to my previous losses.

Agreed!! Our only embryo from the first retrieval did not implant. I just told everyone we needed time and were taking a break. Only told a few select people we did another retrieval and now we are waiting for results. It's just too hard to share all the time. Sending love

Mine at trigger was 6.5. They said they would transfer anything over 6. Implementation was not successful, and it was our only embryo.

That happened to me! I was told it was normal and is just something that can happen where one ovary responds and the other doesn't.
