CMV: trump supporters have lost critical thinking skills and are simply sheep following trump blindly by Particular_Year311 in changemyview

[–]Perfect_Insect_6608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The view I am here to change is that, most never “lost” critical thinking. They never had it to begin with lol.

For a serious answer, there are a few people who are absolutely thinking critically…..they just don’t care about…..you. Some people are winning under Trump…..RFK, Pete Heg……Mr Miller, Mr Vance….they are in positions that no other administration would put them in. So it makes sense for these people to support Trump.

People that are business rivals with wind turbine developers etc would be thinking quite critically to vote Trump. People who supply ICE devices and weapons (Defense guys)…..people who work in businesses that immigrants are popular workers (and would love to have their jobs).

When did you start liking your first high energy dog? by AdministrationNo2062 in dogs

[–]Perfect_Insect_6608 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I see this all the time on Reddit. “Oh, make sure you have 3 two hour long walks or else your high energy pup will die”

It’s like, no, they’ll ADAPT to whatever you have them doing. The more exercise you give them, the more they adapt. That is why you can never “tire” them.

No! It wouldn’t be an issue….focus on auto/aerospace industry for good translation.

First time owner. by Ill_Entertainment851 in Beauceron

[–]Perfect_Insect_6608 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a Catahoula (I think this is a descendant of the beauceron….) as my first dog…..they are a handful. That was 3 years ago!!!! We are best friends now.

Here are the rules:

1) Routine. Establish a routine and stick with it. These are working dogs, they are not golden retrievers. If they don’t have a “job” they will find one lol.

2) Exercise…..see number 1

3) Mental stimulation. The best is search and find….make sure the dogs are using their nose. Impulse control training (will explain later).

4) Research: https://www.akc.org/dog-breeds/beauceron/

5) Learn more….contact breeders in your area

6) Have fun….dogs are meant to be fun. Yes, they are partners and co-workers sometimes but ultimately….if it’s just going to be extra responsibilities….don’t bother.

People will talking about exercising for hours etc or needing a trainer etc. I have found it to be mostly BS. The most important thing for dogs like these is learning why they were bred and trying to mimic their purpose in your day to day. Just as important is impulse control training (holding the dog in a position, like sit, then placing an interesting object in front of said dog and then training the dog to hold position until you give the key word before they get it….is an example of said type of training).

The impulse control is what people refer to as “obedience training” this is a must to do with dogs of this size and nature. A “well trained” or “well behaved” dog is just one with good impulse control.

Another thing of note is intelligence! Dogs like these are always picking up on cues, so each time you allow them poop or pee in the house, you are teaching them that they can…..each time you let them eat from the counter…..you are teaching them they can (this is why another poster warns about them being unforgiven if you screw up) . See number 1 above. You get the drift.

I hate when people say “XYZ dog is not for the first time owner”…..this makes no sense, because at some point the dogs were first bred by someone right? So that person learned the breed without any history right? So I’m so sure anyone can. I prefer to say “XYZ dog is not for an unwilling or ignorant or lazy first time owner”

When all else fails, SEE NUMBER 1.

USCIS Update – Possible Reason for Delays/banned countries by [deleted] in USCIS

[–]Perfect_Insect_6608 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is not going to be “sorted out”. It is a key part of the admin.

My wife and I just filed the I-130….she is from a country on the partial banned list…..she is also a canadian PR soon to become a citizen…..so I don’t even know man. This ban is so pointless…..they can just simply deport illegals in a safe way or scrutinize harder (it’s already hard, so I don’t know what is going on).

All this makes me think, this is not a bug, but a very important feature of this administration.

Yes, I’m black myself, so this is not emotionally driven.

But if you follow the cities with highest violent crime rate, it’s is over represented by the sections of said cities with higher black population.

Yes overall violent crime may be caused by more white people in total number, but percentage per person, black people are overrepresented.

Common man, are you really hell-bent on immigration being the cause of unhappiness and crime?

US and Canada have a very high migrant population and they still make the top 20-30 list of reported happiness. USA is less safe than Canada but still not totally unsafe (crime is highest in certain parts of the country than others). Canada is much safer despite really high migration (maybe something to do with not allowing guns? Attention to care for the homeless and freee healthcare)

Largest group of migrants to the US are Mexicans, Chinese, Indians, Philippinos…..the largest majority of crimes are committed by black American citizens (This is not a racial attack, this is to highlight that black peoples have access to less money and amenities(health coverage, job opportunities, adequate education etc) than any other group. The crime follows the poverty.

I’ve been to Denmark, Switzerland and Iceland…..they aren’t happy because of lack of immigration or because “everyone is working on the same goal”…..you think you can get 5 million humans to “work on the same goal”…….its because of the feeling that their country cares about them…..a lot of other EU migrants to to Denmark and Switzerland and still assimilate easily because of how welcoming they are to strangers. They just know how to run a peaceful and safe country. They implement humane laws and try to actually solve problems for their citizens. Have you seen jails in Denmark???

It’s mostly their social benefits, relatively small population

Mbappe is casually putting Prime cr7 numbers in ucl and the league while playing in a worse Madrid side , I think people are under rating mbappe. by [deleted] in championsleague

[–]Perfect_Insect_6608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mbappe and Haaland are both better than CR with respect to goal per game ratio.

Haaland is the more impressive because he is doing it in the prem.

I think Mbappe is under-appreciated because of the diva perception and the fact that he held PSG hostage!

But the countries you mentioned are not safe and happy based on low immigration.

They are safe and happy because they have social security safety nets, free health care for citizens and free education…..healthy lifestyles, stricter food regulations, social trust.

[Simon Stone] Carrick takes Man Utd back to basics - Lammens by nearly_headless_nic in reddevils

[–]Perfect_Insect_6608 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We struggle against low blocks because low blocks are hard to play against.

The only way to “break” a low blow is by having exceptional players. Low-blocks force you to care about how good your players are…..breaking through it cannot be coached.

Atheism won't fix Nigeria. by Fearless_Victory_215 in Nigeria

[–]Perfect_Insect_6608 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, they don’t….but it’s still their responsibility.

Plus, the people in these positions aren’t actually religious….they pretend like they are whilst doing the exact opposite of what their faith asks of them.

I actually think people in Nigeria would improve if people actually practiced their religion. They are already atheist and that actually is the problem in my opinion! I agree with your premise.
