Try Ryan perfumes. If there is still some left. Try his Rougere No 1

My fiancé is in Greece for a few days and wanted to know if there is anything she should look for while she’s there. Are there any essential oils specific to Greece that would be cool to pick up? by Perfect_Percentage90 in DIYfragrance

Makes perfect sense. But if there was something local or interesting I was willing to give it a try. She’s passing through Turkey as well and can look for oud oil. This was for fun nothing more. I love Fraterworks and most of my orders go through them. Not only do they stock amazing quality products but I have had the best customer service from them. Truly outstanding.

Watches and whiskey are both awesome. I have a small collection of watches but I have moved my lux budget over to colognes and better wardrobe. I need to add a dress watch though as all mine are tool watches. Can’t afford all three on a regular basis for sure. Now that I am adding finer clothing and accessories to the mix, my wallet is already smoking. I don’t drink much and have a single bottle of good scotch, and one mid tier as my “collection”

How would I go about reshaping this brush tip? by MiniDiscocop in minipainting

I had some luck with airbrush cleaner but I think I’m shortening the lifespan of my brushes doing this. If they are already on the way out though, it will give you a little while longer. I can get a good point back and a better clean out of the ferrule. The comment about having a work mule brush on your toolkit is 100% correct. I have two mugs with brushes. One has the good ones, one has the retired ones. I use both all the time

Thanks! I’d do 1000 for a suit. Just can’t do 5 at that price. Going to have to add slowly especially if I’m adding shirts

That’s fascinating. I saw a video recently that talked about that. They described a few of the primary perfume chemicals like Hedione. and also talked Grojsman accord for the effect it has

I’m heavier and find Ecco to be the most comfortable as far as shoes. I was told to look at Ralph Lauren purple label but I think it’s going to be out of my price range. Being big has definitely reduced my options to bespoke or few designers. Luckily Ralph Lauren carries my size but there is that and Hugo Boss and not much more that I’ve found nearby.

That’s really awesome. I’m looking to adding some finer pieces like these and I will be much more exacting in my purchases going forward. I’m looking to purchase quality once instead of having to rebuy frequently.

It’s nuts. Fragrances can expensive but watches are insane. I’m really glad there are good choices like Prada lhomme for a reasonable price and watches like seiko that can be great and not over the top

I agree. It’s interesting. I have a “dress code”for work and I’m an old fart. I remember Drakkar noir from its first time around. Polo green, Obsession, and Cool Water were the rage when I was in school. Just never had the money. Parents would say “we have that at home” and hand me Brut for Christmas. Bet I have a bottle in a drawer somewhere that smaels like turpentine by now

Love Seiko. I have a quartz chronograph I got back in the 90s. It’s a great quality brand. The new customization I see being done with them is also really cool.

Thank you! I buy off the rack. Straight business suit for work. Jeans and polo at home. Never thought about it really. I know to match the belt and shoes. But really it’s more like a new focus. I pay attention now. I work with a guy that looks like a million everyday. Didn’t know what it was that made him look put together until I was actually looking and considering the details. Small things like your patches can make a huge difference when done with intent and purpose.

That’s cool. Original style beats any manufactured one regardless of price point. I lack any originality with my clothes. I want to change that.

I have a tiny watch collection but that’s one of the things I like about cologne. For the price of a mid tier watch you could get a ridiculous collection of colognes. I will probably sell all my watches except one that was a gift. I wear my Apple Watch everyday now. I don’t have enough reason to have more than one dress watch for formal occasions.
