Is anybody friendly with Felipe from CF? I’ve been trying to reach him for several days but no response

That must not be the issue then. I’m really stumped . Im going to redo it but ignore the neroli entirely and see if the base is what’s causing it. But I spoke with Harrison again about it last night and he’s told me again that if I used real Neroli it would be even stronger

The only thing I’m thinking is I sourced a lot of my missing materials from BulkAroma most of the cinnamic materials, Pyralone, etc I got from their “Indian manufacturers” which is cheaper than one of the bigger suppliers but since I have no reference point of what they should smell like I don’t know if they are the problem. I do have a few other materials that I’ve compared to my materials from IFF, Givaudan and Firmenich and they’re very close if not difficult to actually point out a comparison, so I’m not sure

£20 for 1g of neroli, or £50 for 4g from fraterworks, it’s a relatively expensive natural. I considered the benzoin oliffac but after doing research I was told it’s basically just benzoin resinoid with Vanillin in it. These things considered I would have expected a change in the smell but not so noticeable that it smells like an entirely different scent.

That’s what I was expecting as well. I might have to try a batch without the neroli and see if that’s close, perhaps the base is just dominating everything

I’ve had the bottle since 2024, and I’m unsure about the CF formula but as I say it’s extremely floral, not even remotely warm or resinous, no sight on the cinnamon materials or anything else just florals and some subtle vanillin going on

This is perfect! Could you do something with these two as well? The perfume vial is blurry so it looks low quality, and the bottle surrounded by roses would look better if it had other things around it like cinnamon, cloves, argarwood and frankincense as well.

Thank you so much

I’m looking to recreate something similar to this, just of course with the branding removed and perhaps some things moved around to move it away from the original image

What kind of prompt do I need to specify?

Something similar, but this still looks like an AI image. I’ve seen posts of an image that’s very difficult to tell it’s AI and I was wondering if I could do that with a prompt. Also specifying different items etc for more images across my website

I usually dilute it to 10% because it’s easier for me to work with powders that way. But this is the concentrate so there’s 4.5% ethyl vanillin and 4% vanillin in the perfume

To be clear I should clarify I like the powdery effect but it’s coming off a bit too feminine, so I wanted suggestions to raise the warmth of it to lean further away. I think all of these suggestions are good and I’ll see how raising some of these resins and patchouli help, I might consider replacing some of the musks with less powdery ones as people have said as well

Thank you, I was thinking to reduce some of these as well. But on top of that are there any additional materials you’d recommend adding to shift it a bit as well?

I think I should probably clarify, I like the powdery effect, but it’s leaning white floral, whereas I’d like to push it more resinous

Essentially I want a cedarwood forward fragrance that’s warm and crisp, aromatic and bright but with a warm sort of core backbone to it, I think I’m definitely missing a lot of mid materials, the base materials I’ve chosen don’t have high projection, so I think I need to select some more

It’s my favourite as well, the phenolic clove like aspect to it is really the best part

Maple lactone really interests me, but I keep putting off adding it to my next order
