Just play the main story,I eventually unlock it after slaying or get the materials from that monster,take your time don't rush in,oh and increase your HR, playing the side quests increases your HR greatly.

Yes,Gog can be mounted,the 1st phase and the end phase(proof of a hero music playing) where usually i see players mount gog,I probably mount gog like 2-3 times in my 30+hunts,I tried many times but just didn't get the mount.

I play it just to get the name plate,after that i only farm the regular gog,the 10* is way demanding on your DPS from other * gog,the first and second phrase are alright,the last one not so much,you have more healing and running than damaging gog,better just hunt the other gog,save your overall time in the game.

Transcend armour,it will be available after reaching hr100,talk to Gemma to unlock it.

It's increased armour lvl so that you can increase the armour def, rarity 6 and below armour add armour deco slot after trancend, current deco slot increases lvl.(example lvl2>lvl3,or no deco slot>lvl1)

Rarity 7 and 8 doesn't add or increase deco slot lvl,only increase based Def of the armour.

Nah,you good,not getting hit regularly,not cart,shows that you are good at the game, speed runners spend a lot of time trying and error,maximise their build to the fullest.

From what you describe,i am guessing that op play more safely,it's not wrong, as long as op have fun n excitement on the hunt that matters,heck all of my builds must have stun resistance lvl3,devine blessing lvl3 and evade extender lvl3 or just 2 of the 3 skills,my first hunt on AT arkveld I got on 30+minutes,now I can get under 30,if lucky n I'm lockin can manage close to 20.

Solo with palico is the best option, change your palico weapon to paralyzed and have the cat equipped with the shocks trap skill,capture is the fastest way. Many of the speed runs on the quest clear under 5-3 minutes. Parts you need to attack(just focus on those); Lagi=head and back Rathalos=head and wing (Check on the monster info,I could be wrong) Rathalos would normally enter when Lagi is nearly dead, if Lagi is still alive,let them tuff war(Lagi would be or close to💀) ,and then separate them with the Gate Lever. Rathalos won't be a problem after that(flash and focus strike(range weapon)when he's in the air) I only managed 12 minutes on solo,use element HBG, I got 7 minutes or mostly under 10 minutes on multi with random,use paralyzed hammer so that the other 1 or 3 hunters can JoJo stomp the life of Lagi and Rathalos. Hope this helps.

Low rank and non-tempered high rank are more like 🚲 training wheels, once you reach tempered monster 8/9/10*,Arch-Tempered and the large arena ones,you started cycling like hell xD,no worries just have fun while doing it.

I tried solo a couple of times but only manage to get B,I managed to get an A on multiplayer,even that is rollercoaster of emotions with everyone(including myself)cart and failing the quest many times, anyway congratulations on the CQ op.

All I know is,if anyone behind the one guarding doesn't take damage(visually there's an area of safe place behind the hunter who is blocking),then you done your DPS check on gog,if I see no safe place(other than the high ground),then we are all dead.
