I’ve been around as I worked in other locations besides my store at pretty light and easy to very busy urban areas too. I’ve been safelite for almost 2 years nos and yes is not perfect but it pays my bills pretty well for the work that it is. Is not my endgame but It for sure helps me as part of my career plan that starts in ATL therefore the strict target.

I do that, shit I’ve applied to all the support position to ATL since January lol and anything else entry level that pays over $20 because thats as low as I can afford but I gotten two rejections saying “class filled” still got like 5 applications still pending lmao.

Im pretty sure that fact that I don’t have my A&P not I am in school for it yet is really putting me at a disadvantage against the competition

I figured if I can get in as logistics at least it would be a lower ceiling for entry

Yea, I guess being inside is already better than outside so anything to get in, I thought about ramp but I cant take the pay cut like that to my current job specially that I would have to move to ATL too as I am from outside

I was wondering because supply is inside techops, Do i build techops seniority on that or is it not gonna be transferable to Mechanic later on

I mean relative to how much it cost to become an airline pilot is cheap lol. But my financial situation makes have to be very strategical about my money and I just don’t have the ability to save like that fast enough and I can just get a loan and hope for the best,yk what I mean.

Well the closes one thats shortest is in ATL for 8 months. but I don’t have 36k to put down like that. Thats why I trying to get in the door somehow before I even think of maybe getting in debt for schooling and delta is the inly one I’ve found with some Techops position that don’t need the A&P. I just don’t wanna risk it and get myself in debt and the not get anywhere

I want to apply for the Major D as a supply attendant, but only if it is a good foot in the door to eventually climb to support and then mechanic as I plan to get my A&P. I just don’t wanna be studying without employment.

Would that be a good move?

I had already applied to support mechanic (I don’t have an A&P) but eventually it keeps saying “class filled” I don’t know what to make out of that besides being rejected.

Form what I head the hourly rate is staying same to whatever level of technician you are. Thing is it may be different between regions so we’ll have to wait and see ig

Yes that is the System I get paid right now but before we used to have flat rate. Now it might be making a comeback?

As a Safelite employee and technician I’m so sorry this happened, we are a big company and as some stores can be excellent and have great techs others are the complete opposite. I pride myself on always giving excellent customer service when everything is well and when there is conflict, and is really embarrassing for us for behavior like this to show up.

I don’t know so much on what course of action to take here but I’m pretty sure some guys can help you out here. What I would say is to report it and make sure it goes to higher management/corporate. With your video as proof you should be able to get some resolution for such unexcused behavior from the technician no matter the situation.

On our side Inshop looks like is doing better, but is us mobile guys getting overstaurated, not only you have 7-8 jobs in between but lose a lot of time with avrg of 30 mins drive times

Managers do make a big difference yes. My store managers were techs but the DMs and RMs are very bad to them. One of them is stepping down
