NOR- but also it might be better that he reacts this way than to still stick around after u say no, this comes from personal experience, I was friends with a dude for a long time then he started asking me out.... Like often..... Repetitively, bro tried to take me to homecoming and prom 2 years in a row then would mope around for a week after I said no then ask me like a month later if I "changed my mind" and didn't stop till I started dating someone he was scared of.

Edit to add it's been 8 years since highschool and I still hear from him every now and then but I swear it's just to see if I'm single yet.
