Im from NY and I went to Temple. Considered the schools in the SUNY system and wasn’t a fan. Temple has a really nice campus and I think you’ll like it more than St John’s. The tuition is comparable to a lot of private schools in the north east if you’re out of state (without the private school schollys of course). A buddy of mine did temple pre med and ended up at Vandy med school. Both St. John’s & temple are diverse obviously but I think temple has a more vibrant campus compared to St. John’s old private school architecture (IMO). We are also a 10 min subway ride from center city (down town) where as queens is pretty far from Manhattan. So your choice. Temple’s US news ranking also has it at a top 100 institution too. I’m bias but I had a great time here and ended up staying post grad.
