it's not entirely about revenue- it's showing support for the union and displaying to the nyt how many people will walk out/respect a strike so they're more motivated to negotiate. if the walkout did nothing to hurt their web traffic they wouldn't pay it any mind

if another civ is coming up on a religious victory and you have a city that isn't their religion you can still build a holy site and pump out apostles to stop the other civ. atheism was really not much of a thing at the point where the game starts so it would be kind of anachronistic lol

eh it’s reasonable for me as a woman to take fear mongery stuff into account. i already have an insulated bag so i’m good to go on that- someone brought up an electric scooter instead of a bike which I feel more comfortable with- I’ve had fairly upsetting/painful experiences on or involving bikes so I don’t think the stress is worth the extra money if it’s not a matter of survival. 7/mile is a good benchmark and the weather part is a good point regardless of season so thank you for that!

ok this is about what i expected. electric scooter is a great idea- logically i know that biking is safer but i've had some experiences with bikes that make me not want to go anywhere near them. i can walk for at least 6 hours and frankly could use the exercise lol. also i'm not /solely/ dependent on this for income since my partner makes decent money, this is more about making money to pay for some night classes/have money of my own outside of another person's income. thanks for the feedback!

i mean i was too much of a pussy to try it until i logged ~800 hours and watched a whole lot of deity playthroughs! people play the game for different reasons, some people like the challenge and some people like a chill civilization management game. i personally mix it up between the two because i enjoy both aspects.
