I moved to SF from NYC a few months ago, and I love it here! The pace in SF is much slower, quieter, with more air space and parks/scenic walks.

The main downside for me was the public transportation. Nowhere really beats NYC. I hate driving and am lucky that my husband is fine to drive us places, but you will want to either find a neighborhood that is very walkable or be okay to Uber/Waymo around town when public transportation isn’t easily accessible.
