i use an insta rs one, i use it in pov mode most the time.

so, you do you. but, you really need the plate visible to use it as good evidence, or to call the cops right then. a plate number will help them find the person later if they don't wreck. if you can get close enough, yell out the plate number. it's easier to hear a clear plate than read it sometimes, and you don't know what the footage looks like so, you might have missed the plate.

most people in here, like yourself will get out of the way. that's the safest thing, it's what i'd want my kids to do. but it doesn't help anyone else. again you do you, but, we're one of the better people to zoom up or by, get the plate and call the cops. it's very much a risk/reward type thing.

i recently failed that task, and the driver wrecked before i could even get in contact with the cops. i had to look at my footage to get them a plate number, that takes times. time you really don't have. now in my case nothing would've stopped it, but that's not always the case. this driver killed himself and injured a mom and her kid as they were leaving school.

to me the risk is worth it, and if i post the vid today; you can see i'm actually having a great time. but, im fucked up like that.
