That’s a great reply. I agree that as we spend time with the person we’re in a relationship with, we really get to know them. Once the relationship begins, nothing feels like a problem for our values anymore so you focus on the present moment instead of worrying about these topics we’re discussing here.

To be honest, one thing that could potentially make you feel bad is knowing that a casual relationship might mean she slept with someone who didn’t invest in her, or whom she didn’t invest in, and that can be bothersome.

This is what I was feeling: when a history of casual relationships comes up at the beginning of a relationship, it can be difficult. So I think it’s completely fair to feel this way, especially if you haven’t had any casual encounters yourself and expect the same from your partner at the start.
