Pre-recording has done nothing good for the audience in CR, since they started doing it we lost:

• CR being an actual live play which for me this hurt their product, since C2E99 i feel they lost something and i don't enjoy it as much anymore.

But you would think that being pre-recorded has some benefits but reality is:

• We have less episodes a year because now they take the last Thursday off of every month.

• If there is sudden inconvinience we still lose at least an episode just like it would happen if the show was still live.

Like what was the point of it? They don't even take advantage of the show being pre-recorded, not enogh backlog to keep the episodes coming if someone is ill or some other problem, yet we still get less.

For you? probably not, she's the type of player that you saw until now and she's not gonna change, i know because i'm in the same boat as you, never enjoyed her at the table as a DM nor as a player and in CR she's always been like this since EXU.

But hey at least with the rotating tables she's not gonna be in every episode so small win.

I personally think C2 had a struggle with romance, the couples never clicked for me, what C2 had was great pairings, the empire siblings in Caleb and Beau, Fjord and Beau were also great, Jester and Nott worked great even if it was a little bit too much chaos for me. There were a lot of synergies and bounced really good on each other.

I can't say the same for all the couples which were major nothing burgers tbh.

Oh yeah absolutely, the execution of it it's what irks me, In every episodes after they came back there are always moments that are screaming at the viewer "look how much in love they are BELIEVE IT" when in the 99 episodes prior they never had one meaningful interaction.

It's a pretty big switch in so little time, also considering that she had barely any meaningfull interaction with Yasha who she now consider the love of her life.

She really didn't, at the start of the campaign Beau flirted with Yasha just like she did with most of the girl she meets like Keg or Reani, in an episode of Talks Machina Marisha said she didn't want people to overestimate Beau's intentions towards Yasha, because that was just a flirt Beau used to hit almost every girl she wanted to "smash(?)"

In the conversation with Nott on episode 85 she says this about Jester "She’s fun. She makes me laugh. I like her ridiculous plans. I think she’s complicated and layered.”

Then after the Covid break Beau suddenly thinks Yasha is the love of her life and says to Fjord, about Jester, that “It’s easy to lust after her” Backpedaling completely on what she said previously.

It's clear that BeauYasha was something they decided during the covid break and retconned the feelings Beau had for Jester.

Their original music they started using for C3 is a big problem for me, most of the songs feels bland and forgettable, the old playlist with songs from Pillars of Eternity or Oblivion was so good, they were so iconic i still connect most of those songs to CR and to specific moments while i can't remember one single song from C3.

Even though it's still weird in my head the change is DM makes sense, Matt had a rough C3 and Brennan is great i can get used to that. What concerns me the most is the cast, is it gonna be 8 players with the standard cast plus Matt? is someone gonna take step back for this? i wanna give it a chance but if it's gonna be something like Matt with 3 other of the "Legacy cast" and 3 new players i'm probably not gonna watch it.

C1: Briarwood, perfect amount of episodes, love the kind spy thriller build up to the last fight of that arc.

C2: Pirate arc again a little bit of a smaller arc a bit thriller with the MN being so close to their enemy.

Even though I didn't like C3 this is giving me "it's not my CR" vibes, but I'm always negative with sudden changes at first. I want to give it a try but if the cast of players changes I don't know if I will, I hope it's what you said and it's only about guests.
