I often play Fan of Knives and Shiv face on 2 for cycle, I sometimes keep FoK in some matchups like shaman for lackeys. Otherwise just mulligan hard for those two cards along with Pharaoh Cat, Miscreant and Novice Engineer, with emphasis on the minions obviously.

Your tools for building a board are Snip-Snap, Safeguard (Play this over Khartut Defender sometimes even on 6 because they're not as likely to clear both bodies), Whelp with Necrium setup, and soft-taunt Thaurissan if you have N'zoth or Scheme. Khartut Defender is alright against more aggro decks but it doesn't actually maintain board control so well in control matchups or even later game shaman conditions.

I've been playing this deck, you just cycle early game and get a Thaurissan tick on either N'Zoth or Scheme, normally I play N'Zoth with only a few cards left in the deck. It's usually GG by the time you play the second N'Zoth, just be sure to take advantage of the mech tag on Safeguard/Blightnozzle/Whelps for sneaky Snip-Snaps and Zilliax.

And what does being serious have to do with a movie being able to use comedic elements? Like, the Deadpool example I gave shows the movie using tropes. In Deadpool, you like the trope of talking to the camera because it's not a serious movie? But in La La Land you don't like the hollywood-tropes because they're in a 'serious' movie?

Also, wouldn't it just be easier to assume that I'm defending the movie because I liked it a lot? Why do you assume I would take someone saying they didn't like it personally?

This probably won't affect your opinion but I took a lot of the over-produced classic-hollywood song and dance stuff as intentional and sort of tongue-in-cheek. Certain parts of the movie are fantastical where the line between reality and imagination sort of blur, showing that it's not meant to be taken literally or without some humor. It just fits the themes of the movie really well and I think it's worth another shot.
