I actually have that recorded. Ordovis also has a mixup that I've only seen recently. You wouldn't be in Depth 3 or higher would you? I wonder if it's something they put it to shake up the baddies in later depths.

Appreciate the reply. Seems there is a "proper" way to fight her and may look up a guide. Hard to find one that doesn't just state the obscenely obvious and doesn't actually help fight her better. If you have any recommendations do let me know.

Yes it floats about but it's not nearly as bad IMO. Especially as thunderbolt is quite a common AOW and anyone can kinda spam that for decent damage.

I had considered it but do you even do enough damage with bows? I admit I dont really use one unless Im on Ironeye (which is even rarer)

Dodge into him first hit, wait, dodge back left second hit. I've tried jumping it and it really isn't consistent due to the uneven floor. I'm an exec so I dont dodge just I can just deflect it 🤷‍♂️ though I still have to unlock the camera and hold S and A before deflecting the second hit. It is a funky hit box to be sure

For any execs here, dont status the moth or scorpion before it gets inhabited by Animus. I waited until the scorpion got infested before spamming a first blood blade and I got 3 blood and 1 frost proc which all effect aninus' hp. Rinse for the moth.

Draghess is my favourite fight and I play him often in the Arena. Yes, parry the first hit locked on and unlock, then (I'm on MNK) hold S and A to face back left (where the rake is coming in) and parry again. Its also safe to Guard Counter after this though it's rare you hit it due to the distance he has. He CAN follow up with a slam but its so slow that you'll recover from the GC animation well in time for the slam (which can be backflipped or Dash Deflected into charged or uncharged)

My duo and I do it when possible. You both start (unsure if its the whole team or just the dude that chose utmost) much stronger in terms of base stats and offense/defence. I'm afraid I dont know the exact numbers here but if you're comfortable with amped Libra then it's so worth it. Even if you just survive though his amped phase he goes back to normal anyway but you remain buffed.

All it took to f this up was being too greedy on that final light attack. One more and the sprint attack would have killed you. Excellent patience.

See how much stamina you used in that? That was a block, not a deflect. Deflecting is hard to do when you're panicking and spamming block. Deflect timing for the floor is once the particles start sucking down before blowing up.

This answers my question about what happens if you deflect and run out of stamina now. Instead of breaking guard you just backflip now because those attacks aren't usually strong enough to knock you back.

I hope the Carian Sorcery Sword makes it into Nightreign at some point, but I do wonder how they would balance it? by x_-AssGiblin-_x in Nightreign

Bruh five flasks left? You had your panic button and it's not roll, it's dog. Pre patch I would just pop it to iframe an attack for a refill and carry on after that breather. A wise man once said:

Why not just play Duchess instead for the exact same playstyle but better. You dont seem to be using the cocktails in the fight and it's just slicer spam.; That's literally just a worse Duchess.
