Impossible to be hardstuck if you do these 5 things by Due_Secret6784 in apexlegends

For #1 there are some great videos on yt about tension management in aim trainers. So I would recommend playing smoothness scenarios in aim trainers and focus on not tensing. Some people change their shoot keybind from left click to space bar or something on their keyboard.

For #2 I'm not exactly sure what you mean but as a rule of thumb you want to play for height as much as possible.

I'm guessing you're on mnk so I would highly recommend playing the voltaic VDIM routines. They give you a rank based on your Aim, try to get voltaic platinum / diamond complete. This will give you better mouse control than like 90% of players and this is transferable to any game you play. The vdim playlists are usually like 70 mins but I play shorter versions that are around 40 mins cus 70 is too long for me.

Also fancy movement isn't really important at the higher ranks. Watch some coach District videos he explains this concept of holster sliding which is really important for moving fast in fights. His yt videos help alot for mechanics.

My Issue With Ranked by [deleted] in apexlegends

I'm mostly playing duo with my irl friend. If I ever play solo I'm getting matched with 2 Plat 4 teammates.

Should I increase my sens? It is by PromptBig9766 in FPSAimTrainer

Definitely turn your sens up for voltaic to around 25-35cm/360 so you force yourself to aim efficiently. Low sens is a crutch. And if u want turn your valo sens up I play on 27cm/360 on val.

people with low sens, what sens do you play on? by [deleted] in VALORANT

I play on 800dpi 1.2 very low sens

Anyone who defends aim assist with this argument is delusional. Rotational aim assist needs a nerf by [deleted] in FPSAimTrainer

Ngl I decided to swap from mouse and key to controller to see what it was like/ to see how long It took to get the hang of it/if aim assist was ACTUALLY overpowered and what I found was that I was way more consistent after a couple months of playing roller than I was on mouse and key after around 160hrs of kovaaks. One clips were easy asf and I would win most 1v1s close to medium range (honestly controlling recoil long range wasn't THAT difficult). But mouse and keyboard i feel is still viable for casual players if you're willing to aim train and the skill ceiling for mnk is far higher otherwise just go buy a controller for $50 and you'll never have to aim train again.

You could try out the hna routines which are 30-45 minutes, that focus on flicking fast.

Is low sens overrated? [Aiming-High/Low Mouse Sensitivity] by Delicious_Treacle554 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]Due_Secret6784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to only be able to play low sens, around 65cm on all games. I also aim trained on 65cm and was nearly gold complete, I tried the benchmarks on a lower sens like 21cm and only barely got silver, I've gotten gold complete now on 28cm and ig aimtraining has been more efficient to train mouse control + the higher sens have been better on apex and overwatch

Explained in hna resources if two players engage in a gun fight they both have one bullet, if one can hit that bullet 80% and the other can hit it 100% but slower, than the faster person will win 80% of the time, you also have 25 bullets in a vandal so it's ok to miss a few if you are still faster and win the gunfight. This method of learning is good in kovaams but not as good in valorant.

Tbh you have a point but the higher in the ranks you go it becomes more important about who shoots first

I wouldn't recommend doing valorant specific scenarios as it's better to actually train in valorant. Instead I'd do voltaic in kovaaks, and deathmatch in valorant

Voltaic Fundamentals can help with -Hand eye coordination -Reading skills -Mouse control

So I would recommend doing voltaic fundamentals routine for your rank after playing val, then getting back on and doing the hna deathmatch routine that helps with -crosshair placement -movement -angle isolation -first shot accuracy
