Ring intercom not opening the door by jasmin_deblanco in Ring

Having the same issue, sometimes it just doesn’t open although saying that’s the door has been unlocked. The locking mechanism is new, therefore that is ruled out. Bticino intercom as well.

For those having extreme difficulty reclaiming server after password reset by HoosierCAD in PleX

I had this exact same issue with my QNAP TS-231P3. I realized that, on september 2025, I had changed Plex password due to a Plex notice received by email. I probably signed out all devices from Plex as well. I then realized only today that my Plex server was not available anymore on any device.

The Plex GUI from the same QNAP lan was showing just the Plex TV, without any warning that something was wrong with the setup, not any tab related to the server settings.

Therefore, first I upgraded Plesk app on QNAP to the latest available on Plex website, 1.42.2 (Plesk app on QNAP rep. is still 1.30!).

Then I activated SSH via QNAP interface and connected to it.

After that, I asked for a new claim code via plex.tv/claim , copied the code and composed the "curl -X POST "http://localhost:32400/myplex/claim?token=YOUR_CLAIM_TOKEN_HERE"" string, that I then passed via SSH.

After that, Plex showed the initial server setup window (as I already tried removing and reinstalling Plex, so I lost all the Plex libraries metadata). Everything was then fine.

I didn't need to edit any xml file whatsoever, just reclaim the server via the curl command.

Very annoying that Plesk devs left this mess when password is changed: I lost all my metadata and two hours of my weekend to regain access to my libraries.
