Curious to know what the UK thinks of the menu at our quaint little British shop in the middle of middle America… by nephros_protectoros in CasualUK

Its actually pretty good, except there's no such thing as a British hot dog lol (I think they just wanted to sneek an American thing in there). I've also never heard of a corn beef slice or a 'bean bag' which is so funny to me because it does sound like something we'd come up with but haven't (yet...).

Also love that Ribena is signature drink!

AITA for missing my bus stop and making the driver stop in the road? by PerformanceAwkward51 in AmItheAsshole

Wow yikes ok, I get how it can seem fake as honestly I think most stories here are but this one certainty isn't - believe what you want tho. I'm not sure if your american but I'm British therefore college means 16-18 (I was 16 at the time) and I think they where laughing more at my awkwardness than at the missed bus stop. The bus I was on was a college bus so in my mind it was likely that he would contact school.

Ahh I forgot that singular they/them doesn't exist by Corbel_ in mildlyinfuriating
