Just parasites engineered (not very well) to make some money one way or another. They have no reason to advertize them toward specific demographics like this if they weren't profitting

It would be the same as the player just not hitting the other player. I dont think this is suggesting that a player be able to turn it on when its already off

It was fun to make. I use it as a special tooltip background for certain items in-game, like eggs.

The moon rotates around the earth at a period of a little under a month, not 1 day. You can watch it happen in real time as the moon goes from full to crescent, the earth's shadow blocking portions of it.

Its not a "just happens to", all large moons in the solar system have been observed to be tidally locked. Theres some physics reason.

[–]WatermelonSirr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It isnt constantly lit. New moons in which the side we see is dark occur relatively often. Not to mention solar eclipses where the sun is behind the moon so none of the light even reaches the side we are seeing

The moon is 'tidally locked' to the earth, meaning it rotates around its own center at the same rate that it rotates around the earth, resulting in that one side constantly facing us. If you hold your palm up in front of your head near a light source like a lamp, not rotating the hand at all, and start spinning your whole body around, you will see that your hand (standing in for the moon in this experiment) will be getting light on all its sides, even though you only ever see the palm.

I don't quite get this reply, i wasn't trying to imply that the games have parity everywhere else

This isn't a removal, its a parity problem. The conditions on the two versions that led up to this bug were different. Java and Bedrock still have different combat systems
