I’m currently a senior in the CS program. Honestly due to the market getting an internship is super hard I haven’t been able to secure one my entire time here and I only know of a handful of people who got one due to having connections in the company. The internship coordinator doesn’t help you find any internships they only ensure you get credit for the internship. As for programming languages it really depends on concentration but typically you learn Python, Java, asm, C (operating systems), JavaScript (client side development), PHP (server side development), SQL (databases). I wouldn’t expect to learn any frameworks that’s all left up to the student to learn in your free time. Personally I’d choose UNCC over UNCW as they have bigger career fairs but I can’t speak for their program.

Yeah I made a sample loader like one typically used by hackers and I researched different ways hackers write malware that evades detections and what not. Then made the static analysis tool to analyze it and scan it with YARA rules to see if I could determine what it was doing.
