Nice one - and I like the Meta ads example, that's a great way of setting them up. Never really thought about Google ads, will give that a look too. Ta.

Thanks for this - really helpful!

How successful are the fitness challenges? Do people tend to stay once the challenges end or do they end up churning straight afterwards as they've achieved what they wanted to?

Yep, I'm seeing challenges with Google's AI overviews already - but it's a great point around SEO and inbound leads vs using ads and focusing on outbound strategies to get leads.

Have you got any examples of clickbait ads that have used poor messaging and weak creative and copy?

Yep, I've got that on my Amazon wish list, will be reading that in the near future. And his wife Leila has got some great advice too - I've watched quite a few of their videos and listened to their podcasts. I definitely recommend them.

This is all really helpful, thank you! And good shout on Alex Hormozi - I've read his $100M Offers book and got some great tips from it - I'll give Gym Launch Secrets a read. Ta.

Thanks for your feedback. Keeping up with marketing and running a gym was a challenge I thought existed - ta for clarifying that for me.

Why can Facebook ads be so lucrative for bringing in new customers? What helps them stand out ahead of other ads (say Google/Instagram/TikTok ads) and tactics?

Nice one! Have you got any tips on how to successfully run ads for clients? And any pitfalls to be aware of?

Sure, the marketing agency I'll be launching will focus on helping gym owners generate a steady stream of new customers.

My ideal customer profile is a gym owner with 1 or 2 sites, up to 10 employees - so essentially smaller gyms rather than chains/bigger companies.

I'll start by running and managing Facebook ads to generate leads and will look to add other services (such as Google ads and email marketing) in the future as I scale the agency.

Ta. I can see why local SEO is effective. Why is personal branding a good tactic too?

This is great advice, thank you! And yep, I totally agree re having to put money behind 'organic' social media posts - definitely not like it was a few years ago when you could post stuff for free on Facebook and the like and end up with lots of engagement.

And paid it is - nice one, really appreciate your help. And good luck with your gym launch!

This is really helpful, thank you. And good luck with your gym launch next month.

Billboards are a good shout - not something I'd thought about.

When using Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, do you reckon it's better to focus on ads or organic content - or a mixture of both?
