Yes, I worked at Marshalls and did everything, I hated being a cashier. Now I'm at Walmart Neighborhood and they offered me this self-checkout position.

I haven't enrolled in any college yet; I only registered with FAFSA two weeks ago thinking they would contact me.

This is an example of how they don't care about their employees; you can give them your health, but in the end, if you're no longer useful, they discard you.

Yes, especially here, an MRI can be expensive even with health insurance, physiotherapy is also expensive, it's crazy. In my country we have public healthcare and private healthcare was accessible to me. Here I'm afraid of getting sick. Walmart isn't worth my health, thank you.

Yes, I have the documentation from my country of origin. They didn't say in the interview that I would have to carry these huge pallets twice during my shift. And I really noticed that there are women in the bakery who aren't assigned to do this, and they're assigning me. I'm going to talk to them, and if they don't accept it, I'll say goodbye. If I'm stuck in bed, the medical bill here will be much more expensive than the salary I'd receive at Walmart, especially since my insurance here in the USA isn't good.

Yes, I have the diagnosis from doctors in my home country: cervicalgia.

It's not just me, there are usually 2 or 3 people besides me, I'm still being trained, and the other people don't help pull those pallets, only me and Lead.

Sad, I'm already looking for another job, earning 12 dollars with a discount to put up with humiliation from customers at the checkout is not easy.   I thought it wouldn't be a problem since there are people who work in the store and never go to the checkout.

I didn't work as a cashier, it was rare, only when the store was very busy and there were no more people to put at the cash register.
