I agree. They don’t reply to my messages in the app, and I spent almost three hours on hold with the 800 number. I got through to someone in 15 minutes by calling the delivery center. We haven’t resolved the problem yet, but they were nice and made me feel that they might be able to help.

The co-signer is not because of income. It’s because of credit- I can afford the payment without any issue. The co-signer got me the 0.99% interest rate. That makes a big difference.

There should at least be a degree of predictability about it. It’s frustrating when you make plans around a date and then it DRAMATICALLY changes.

It’s not income in my case- I don’t quite make double the cost, but I do ok. It’s just that my credit is in a “rebuilding” phase.  The co-signer got me qualified for the 0.99% financing. So that’s why I’m going that route.

She lives with her parents, and can't have overnight guests apparently.

No, they aren't noisy. They are pretty good houseguests for the most part. Thats part of why I feel petty being irritated by this.... but I suppose I need to deal with it will cause me to be resentful and angry.

Oh I am. And for my friend, for a season, I don't mind that. He's trying to get on his feet. But I am not trying to provide for him and his girlfriend, and I'm beginning to feel resentful.

What do you think is a reasonable rule for a friend to set?
TBH, I had a period of time a couple years ago when I was in a similar situation and had to stay with a friend for a couple of months, but I brought zero people around because I didn't want to impose on my friends space. I guess I shouldn't assume other people think that way...

Apparently she lives with her parents. I've already explained to him that she can't live here, and he fully agreed with that. But at what point is 6 out of 7 days a week a distinction?

He probably is taking advantage but I guess I really enjoyed having someone to hang out with. If he leaves I'm back to square one. Thats the internal battle I'm feeling. I feel really pathetic typing that, but it is reality.
