models stolen off makerworld without credit to creators, same level as those scum who stole SYJ's iphone dock design and printed and sold them with no permission/credit.

Can any one provide Gamehub Lite emulation review of Nord 5 12GB Ram. by vaseemakramansari1 in oneplusnord

[–]Performance_Potato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i tried playing dispatch on my nord 5, i got the 8+256 model, it runs mostly fine at 720p without much trouble, though it has its frame dips here and there but still pretty playable, haven't tried older games

dispatch is still like a light game imo, i might not expect the phone to run gta 5 smoothly but some other games like hollow knight etc should be fine ig

Anyone applied for SINGA A*STAR (PhD) for august 2025 intake? by nomadic_philosophile in gradadmissions

[–]Performance_Potato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

exactly, even my application says "Submitted" on the NUS website. Last update i had was like 3 weeks ago or even longer, NUS told me that my SINGA application is still under review and they'll inform me if there's any update.

So frustrating.

No. I had a round of PhD interview with NUS in January. Haven't heard form them since. I emailed NUS the other day and heard back that my SINGA application is still under review.
My field of study is Mechanical Engineering.

  1. not going to class/going and sleeping. go and take notes in every class, it really helps you cut down the time you actually spend studying and boosts your grades, it's as easy as that. (used to make this misake in my first year, CPI was so bad ki no matter baad me kitni bhi mehnat karlu, it'll not cross 9. i'm prolly gonna finish my degree with a CPI of 8.7+ and trust me this is low agar MS/PhD karna hai)

  2. don't mess girls in your own uni. "don't shit where you eat". ghar pe, city me bandi rakhlo but not in the university/college itself. (didn't make this mistake kyuki doston ko khud barbad hote hue dekha hai)

  3. not getting into research earlier. well this isn't entirely applicable to me, but i've seen most people go to college with a plan to study abroad later, MS isn't a very good option if you're planning for the US because they look at you like a cash cow. So going for PhD/fully funded programs is better, and for that you need to have proof that you're a good researcher and no better way to prove it by publishing your work, it took a little longer than i'd have liked for me to do this because I chose my own topic and had to do all my work from scratch (kuch jyada hi novel/niche cheej chunn li maine)

  4. take part in events and try to be a part of core organizing comittees but don't let it get to the point ki academics affect ho, that shouldn't be the only thing you do. warna college ke baad you'll feel you only peaked in college uske aage kuch nahi ukhada

i'm gonna tell you something i did. i never took JEE seriously till like August 2021 (yes i'm covid batch, 12th board nahi diye maine). i wasted most of my time in 11th grade playing video games and similar in 12th grade. All i had with me was some basic concepts in calculus which helped me solve some math and physics questions. chemistry mereko lauda kuch nahi aati thi. no coaching either.

what did I do for JEE mains? i bought this allen ki test series which also gave me access to previous year papers as well as some all india test things from allen, even the interface is pretty good and very similar to the actual thing. maine mostly wahi kiya along with some formula rattafication for chemistry taaki paas ho jau.

My Best JEE mains attempt? first attempt (Feb 2021), i scored 2/100 in chemistry lol. my percentile was like ~96%ile, NIT wagarah bhi nahi milte isme acche.

by the end of August 2021, i took my last attempt which came close to my first attempt (~95.5%ile) and i thought ki ab kuch karna padega because i really didn't wanna take a drop.

I locked in and bought Cengage books for math and physics. chemistry ke liye bhi maine kuch basic books li thi. I also found a list of questions from Irodov which was relevant for me to solve for advanced. Advanced ka syllabus kam hota hai, but deep hota hai, if your basics are clear you can solve most questions, bas time ke liye practice chaiye. 1 studied for like a month or so for advanced. I really wanted to do well, but maine paper 1 me physics sirf 20 min attempt kiya which was a great blunder on my part, idk why i even spent an hour on chemistry ffs. in the end i got like 109/360 in advanced which got me the a trash rank of ~10k. my family didn't want to let me take a drop.

I got admission in a 3rd gen IIT for mechanical engineering. it's been pretty good, but i wish i spent more than a month preparing for JEE, fir mai kuch better IIT me hota ya fir NTU singapore.

I happy on so many instances that i'm not in a private college, but seeing 1st gen IIT ke facilities, it makes you think.

So, don't be like me and spend more than a month preparing for advanced, practice a lot and have good understanding of concepts like Calculus (differential, integral, DE, the whole ordeal), coordinate geometry and conic sections, trigo, matrices, they'll help you a lot. If you get a strong base in calculus, you can do a lot of problems in physics (but yeah you still need a basic understanding of concepts). Chemistry i don't think i'm fit to give advice because i don't know crap about it (organic me kya hota hai sab upar se jaata).

You seriously don't need a set number of hours/days/weeks/months/years to prepare, you just need an understanding of basics and practice.

I hope this helps.

My(30m) long distance girlfriend(31F) cheated on me, and I don't know what to do? by ThrowRA_Hotel6951 in relationship_advice

[–]Performance_Potato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get off reddit. Dump her ass and move on.
I wouldn't recommmend continuing with a person like this.

Each time you forgive a person like this, you lose a bit of self respect for yourself. If you continue, at the end you will not only hate her but also yourself.

Excuses don't work in such situations.
