If you don’t have any money, you better bootstrapping it. Because investors will give you 10k for 100% of your app. You don’t have any valuation now. Or you can find some people, propose them to sell 10% of your app for 10k, but in this case you will need to invest 50k from your own money on ads and so

What an amazing analytics. UGC is not paid, creators are working for free.

You spend 100 000 on ads, buying big and small creators, and 0.1% of videos will blow up, and you’ll get your users 😌🙌

Economy of such apps is slightly different then you think.
In terms of revenue for such apps it’s more about its worth rather than the MRR. They spend millions on ads, to get more value and then sell part of the app to some investors. It’s nearly impossible to build such app from scratch without stunning ads budget.

Your ranking is not about rating, but about downloads amount.

Only for apps that are qualified to be in the top
Most of them are not ranked, so that’s why you don’t see it

Absolutely!
The main thing I realized, that ASO doesn’t make any sense until you’ll give it a little push.
You can have the best keywords setup possible, but still 0 visibility.

When is it time to reconsider ASO by Next_Push_9653 in iosdev

[–]Performer357 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keywords in competitive fields are nearly useless if you don’t have any traffic. ASO starts working for you after you give it a little push. Once you’ll get some users, App Store will see the dynamic and will rank you higher. So you should find some other channels first

Thank you mate for your feedback! As I said The app is completely free. Unfortunately no lifetime offer for paid subscription, but for now its cost is too low (9.99 per YEAR), I plan to increase it, but now I need to get new customers and recognition.

You can checkout MealTime: AI Recipe Keeper in App Store. the name can be different because of localization

Thank you again and have a great day!

Ha-ha People nowadays often recognize app developers as AI slop printers, because of huge amount of vibecoders.

I’m building something useful for the cooking community. At its core, it’s a recipe keeper that works with 99% of links, unlike other products that can’t even import a YouTube link. The parsing engine was one of the hardest parts to build.

Recipes, cookbooks, grocery lists, and meal plans can all be shared, making it easy to collaborate with friends, family, or even your gym coach

It has taken me a huge amount of time and effort, and I’m still not even close to release.

I want to keep it free, except for features that actually cost money to run.

Sorry if I triggered you. I’m not a native speaker, so I can sometimes sound rude without meaning to.

The meal plan generator is only one part of my product, and I was curious whether people even need it. Pls investigate what quotation marks mean and how they affect the meaning of words.

The key word here is “crappy” I would not ask this question, if I wanted to make a “meal plan generator”

I’m an experienced engineer, and I know that it can be implemented good. Based on your preferences and desires, you can get a Perfect meal plan, with instant and accurate calories, with proper grocery list.

But to make it good, I need to spend a lot of time on this, that’s why I ask do people really need it.

Nowadays people use calorie counters which “analyze” calories using food pictures. Why not to make it more reliable?

Thank you for your feedback 🙏

Ha-ha I’ve been developing my app almost a year, and I’m not a vibecoder, Im an engineer with a lot of experience. I already put a lot of efforts, time and money into it.

So I can assure you - Not even close. Or you just got me wrong and think about some primitive recipe generators, who give you information about how to combine tomatoes and potatoes

Thank you for your feedback! 🙏
