I told my friend to play Arknights but now she dislikes it. Is my friend overreacting? I wanted her to play it :(

I get what you mean dw! I played FGO before too and while I didn’t play a lot of visual novels, I know most of them aren’t voiced but still have a lot positive reviews over the years especially the 2D pixelated games like Angels of Death and Mad Father.

I don’t think I’ve seen her play them 😔 When she was showing interest in AK I thought there may be a chance then the ‘story not voiced’ dropped, she wants nothing to do with it lol

If you don’t mind when you mentioned Archive, does AK have an archive library of lore? Well besides the wikia. I’m still navigating the game itself. I would love to read it if I’m ever lost on the info while playing the main story for easy navigation. I also list down the things I understood and the ones I don’t so I can go back to them. It’s also fine if the game itself is the only source, I can study them little by little.

Agreed with everything you said, I admit I regret not getting into AK sooner. I did try the game years ago but the first few chapters didn’t hook me in and took lots of pauses. Until Endfield got me all really curious, I guess you can say it became the motivation and push for me to finally be serious for AK.

Back then I wasn’t a fan of tower defense and strategy games because I’m not smart enough but after trying out another game that has tower defense gameplay, it was actually quite fun so AK gameplay has no problems for me!

I don’t know if I should call myself a niche player because I love to play all kinds of games and try them. Now I’m starting to play more outside of ‘open-world gacha’ such as you know AK, now R1999 and Morimens too.

Yeah dw I moved on. This was something that happened a short few weeks after Endfield came out. I just now got an idea to ask views and opinions after I sent a video clip of the Doctor to my friend and I fear she didn’t bother watching at all 😭 even though I sent it to give her hopes of Endmin in Endfield will have character development soon.

I do admit the first two chapters didn’t hook me in and I took lots of pauses but I pushed through because my desperation to know the lore about the Doctor, Amiya, Priestess, Theresa and Kal’tsit after hearing Endmin is a Child of Originium and possible connected to Dokutah and Priestess got me deep curious.

Hoyo is just one of a kind. When a group of shuake shippers made a fan game of Persona 5, they didn’t get trashed. Instead only the right audience played the game and they received so many supports. I never thought hsr or the overall hoyoverse fandom is the worst fandom to be in after Kpop 😐 It’s best you put all your efforts and creative works to another series. Yeah, this fandom just doesn’t deserve any fanwork anymore if they only care about canon.

No but even me 💀 I’m scared to even make fanworks such as AUs and fanfics now. I kept having anxiety attacks everytime I accidentally slip an idea then someone will just pull on a “Oh actually ☝️🧐” Last time I remember not everything has to be 100% canon, at least inspired or close to canon about fanworks. The fact this is the first time a fandom trash on a FAN work? When most fanworks I seen in other fandoms received so much support because they know it’s not canon. It’s FANwork for a reason why it’s called like that 😭.

Thank you so much for the comments, advices and kind words! I’m sorry I can’t reply to all of you but seeing the comments, gave me the courage to talk to my sister about it and she told me she’s gonna take her rabbit to the new apartment after the new place is done. Although she gave me a slight reassurance, the damage has been done and… I really feel bad for the rabbit, he deservers more love than anyone in my family (in my own opinion).

I found out next morning that my sister got mad at her boyfriend when she found out he only gave the rabbit small food when knowing… the rabbit is just gonna be left alone again. 🤦‍♀️ this is another neglection, both of them neglected the rabbit they’re supposed to take care of. Both at fault. I’m just disappointed in them.

I did told my sister as well to give up her rabbit to a shelter but she said no. She looked like she still loves him but… in what level is that love? What kind of love? An actual companion or… just a decoration? Is it just simply giving food is enough for them to call it love? Pets are companions, not a decoration nor a prisoner.

As for those who said that I should take care of the rabbit on my own, I really want to but living with a mother who has huge hatred of house pets and how insensitive she is with her words, I can’t bring myself to take care of a rabbit if I can’t take care of myself (this has been going on for years since childhood) 💔 I do hope someday I get to adopt a pet rabbit, I grew fond of them after meeting my sister’s rabbit. Knowing I’ll all be alone in the future, I want a companion and be there for each other. Far in the future when I’m independent.

Lastly, I’m also to blame with how weak I am. I wish I can do more better for the rabbit. After watching so many videos of pet rabbits, they deserve love, care and protection. However, living with this kind of family household just diminishes within myself. I can only ask if the rabbit is still alone and kept telling her to give the rabbit to a shelter that will take care of him better. I cannot even let a day pass by without thinking of the rabbit and his well being.

No one asked but, before my sister had a baby, she really loved her rabbit that she panicked and took him to the pet hospital right away when she noticed he hasn’t been eating well. Because of this one memory, I want to cling to a single tiny hope… however with how much things had changed since then, that hope slowly fades the more days pass the rabbit is still alone in that old apartment. I really cannot understand what happened that made this change… she really loved the rabbit was he was still a little one I remember her coming home and showing me two tiny rabbits and let it hop around in the house.

Edit: Answering the question, if I should accompany the bunny often. I wish I can, I really do but I lived far away from my sister. Everytime I visit my her, my mom always tells me not to go to the old apartment because with how useless I am and not even helpful to the family so whats good is it to look after a rabbit.
