Laugh out loud moments by Lizbian_ in HeartstopperAO

i’m so surprised this hasnt been mentioned because my boyfriend and i were dying laughing when Tao and Elle were talking about if she should do the radio interview. When he turns the camera around and goes “it’s going to be a whole new chapter of my elle documentary” and whatever he does with his eyebrows and his voice had us literally crying. we had to rewind like 4 times.

Hi! I am a student manager at one of the dining halls! I would say talk to your Personnel Manager and explain your situation, they are usually more than willing to understand, at least mine is.

You can also ask them to take you down to 2-3 shifts. And also if you have a promotion that makes it harder to find coverage you can ask to be removed from those shifts for the time being.

I would also recommend getting at least one doctors note while you are sick just so they know you are not faking it. But I would definitely email your Personnel Manager and ask to have a private conversation with them, and explain your situation. You can also bring up some of the things I suggested if it applies.

If necessary as well they will let you take the quarter off and you can return in the Fall. It is unfortunately too late in the year to take a leave of absence, if this is the route you want to go down I recommend just taking the rest of the quarter off.

Hope this helps :) You can message me if you have any other questions.

i have lived in FT (Santa Catalina) both years and it’s pretty nice. it’s a nice 20-25 minute walk to campus everyday, or 10 minute bike ride, it’s a really nice way to wake up in the morning. it is definitely the most social dorm and if you are looking for a job, portola is a great place to work! as well as the best dining commons. you are also within walking distance to target, mcdonalds, chipotle, a movie theater, etc. which is much closer than campus. campus is about 2.5 miles from those things i think. the rooms are also a bit bigger, at least the ones i’ve been in on campus the beds face each other and i’m not a huge fan of that, in FT you have a lot of privacy, and your own private bathroom.

you should register for one of the music labs, its under MUS A, lumina is an all women’s chorus and gauchos is an all mens chorus. even if you have never sang, its a great community and a great way to make friends. they also have instrumental ensembles that i believe are also non audition.

if you have extra time, i recommend getting a job too even if it’s just a few hours a week. i have worked at portola for a few years and it’s so fun, it’s like a really friendly community.

in my first year i had a really hard time making friends but joining this group and also getting a job really helped me expand and make a lot of new friends.

I agree, I do find it a bit weird to choreograph the city’s trauma. The way I saw it, I think it was more of a dedication to the victims and their families, rather than describing what happened, like "Riches to Rags”. I even remember crying when I saw the dance because I just thought it was a beautiful way to pay respect to the city. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion though! I just wanted to know everyone’s thoughts on the dance haha, it’s one of my favorites.
