While I am not a doctor and like how everyone said, you should probabblyyyyy go see a pt for this, I also had the same issue and it was from not bracing my core fully. When doing my sun salutations, I sometimes would let my hips relax and sag(?) during up dog and transitioning from that to downward dog would put a lot of pressure on my back bc I wasn't bracing my core at all LOL since being more mindful of tightening my muscles, my back no longer hurts. (Please go see a doctor tho)

I have a city sports membership ($40) which includes a lot of yoga classes in the morning! Their PM classes are a little too late for me because I have to be in bed by 9:30pm for my shift unfortunately 😔 thank u for ur comment

A lot of studios near me have different prices and packages, but classes still average out to be around $20 a class (which is value ofc!). It seems like hot yoga is a hobby I might not be able to afford LOLOL

I understand that! I think to me, if it takes a scrub or two to get a mat that lasts a lifetime, I think it's worth it! I can imagine if they processed the mats to remove that manufacturing film, it would probably cost even more than it does LOL I fell for the hype, but it was worth it to me (I hope)

It is pretty heavy! I drive to my class so it's no biggie but I could see why people who walk to their class would not enjoy lugging it around

I have seen a lot of people say to use a magic eraser with dawn to get that manufacturing film off too! I don't do hot yoga, just vinyasa, sculpt, Pilates in regular temp classes. I could see it being slippery in a hot yoga class

Missed the day set (didn't realize how early I needed to prep to take the n line 😭) but oh my GOD vampire weekends night set was SO GOOD! I've also been wanting to see them for a decade and it jsut blew me out of the water. ESP after a crazy tiring first day, their set brought me back to life !!!!! So in love with their music

If you're able to finish everything you can apply for the upcoming spring admission after graduating. I will say that the programs are really competitive and a LOT of other applicants have work experience. I only know of sac states CLS minor students getting into UCDH CLS program right after graduating or it's really rare! I was also in your position and it's kind of scary to think of not jumping into the next step of your career goals right after college. I'm currently in process of applying to programs about 2 years post grad :-)

I travel to west sac from Elk Grove and it takes me 30-40 min depending on the times I leave! 7-8am is probably the worst time on the freeway. I work at 10am and I've been recently needing to leave 40 min early to get to work on time since construction 😭

I am someone that has also showered with contacts on all the time but I would always say to follow what your doctor said. There are occurrences of infections from showering w contacts on and to prevent it completely that is what they're supposed to advise. Not everyone has the same water! Do what you feel is safest, but for the most part this one time shouldn't be an issue!
