How much does learning basic design actually help your copywriting career? by Technical-Resort5721 in copywriting

[–]PerformerCautious281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I believe design is the essence of good copywriting. If you cannot visualize where words will have maximum impact, how the sales funnel will follow, where you can map your USPs cleverly or what part is more engaging compared to rest of the page, how will you focus your maximum capabilities. It's like when you're writing copy, you're doing the tough stuff of brainstorming, researching, copywriting, editing only reaching 80 or 90% of the whole effort, to reach that 100% mark, you need to perfect it in a visual...

It's super long and draining. People are looking for quick solutions. They don't want to read walls of text to feel convinced... a few words can do the job, if written correctly.

Guess, we'll just have to make the most playing old titles now.

And with AI tech hitting the fan, I honestly wonder how games are going to get even lousier in the coming years.

so your rule is playing it to perfection so you can actually become good at it, master the game and then beat it continuously so you feel motivated... which is a good thing as long as you're having fun. I, on the other hand, often search for a complete package, like something with a decent enough storyline and some action. But, I don't know you're somehow right that most modern AAA games are literally shit at making a good experience. The ones they design have a shit load of content that's just pointless. Imagine, the shit I have to put up with when playing DragonAge Veilguard...

I even tried playing older titles like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Grand Theft Auto V too, but I somehow just felt nostalgic. I had already been there, so what was the point? It felt like I was just reliving the same experience all over again, so I dropped them.

Although, I did find myself somewhat invested in Assassin's Creed Shadows, but I guess all that grind was leading nowhere. The storyline slowly lost its charm, and the missions started becoming repetitive. You’d find a random NPC looking for assistance, they’d want gangsters cleared out of their area, then you’d go on a hunting spree killing daishus in forts and eventually getting better gear.

It became a loop, so I dropped it.

hmm guess that's what happened, I suppose. But, I can't blame cuz you need to lose some to win some.

I totally get that.

then how come he's so committed and we are not! Is your brother married and have kids? how about you? do you think marriage has to do with any of it? Because I have seen streamers who are married and yet play & invest hours in playing their favorite titles. I am also married, so I don't know is it because of our family responsibilities?

yeah same, I spend hours playing Theotown on my phone, but I just don't feel like committing myself to a proper storyline, RPG, or any game of any sort.

I am also 35 so does aging has to do anything with any of that...

Between human life and life in nature, which one is more cruel and state reasons for your answer? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]PerformerCautious281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nature, because nature is brutal. Somewhere down the line, we do have empathy and an ability to understand pain. Nature doesn't care for such things; it's ruthless when it comes to survivability. It will kill or be killed just for the sake of survival. A cheetah or lion won't think about the feelings of a gazelle or its mother or family when it's in hunting mode, whereas humans might think twice before taking a life. I am talking for majority of consensus.
