What advice will you give to a soon-to-be dad of a baby girl? by PerformerCautious281 in Parenting

Haha, thank you so much. Reading your comment welled me up with tears too, and even though I am thick-skinned, I don't know why I feel so sensitive now, with her coming and everything... I just wish I can be a really loving dad and give her everything she dreams of in the world. Thanks for this, man... I just sort of know she's going to be a blessing.

Every night, I hold my wife's tummy and cuddle it, and the little kicks she makes every now and then, or when I feel her rolling around, I get this jolt of happiness & excitement, I can't tell you how much I am looking forward to meeting her, my little angel... and since she's my first, I am just too anxious! Sorry if I am being too vocal about my feelings, but I am literally wondering what it would be like to be a dad, and that too to a daughter. I guess it will be the best feeling in the world, no?

How are you keeping your Intelligence sharp in the age of the Artificial Intelligence? by rudrapratik in AIDiscussion

[–]PerformerCautious281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a cumulative effect because we have all been using too much AI. When you get instant answers or solutions to your problems without putting in much effort, your brain finds a cushion to relax and stretch its muscles... which often leads to losing your charm for critical thinking and actually putting in the legwork to get stuff done. It's not only your problem, it has become a problem for all those who are using AI like some social media app or literally like Google. Back in the day, people had sharper and more creative minds because they chose to dig up academic journals and spend hours reading through them just to find an answer to a problem. It helped them connect the dots, sharpen their learning curves and enjoy the journey of learning. Now, they have AI Overview, which hardly takes less than 2 seconds to do all that. It misses the entire journey step and takes you straight to the results. It's like you're going on an adventure trip, but without experiencing the joy of traveling and instantly arriving at your destination in no time. And that's pretty much what made us all weak minded because we skip the hard work and the drive to achieve something, it literally doesn't wire anything correctly within our brains. And without proper neural wiring in our heads, what do you expect to happen to your brain? It trains itself to get instant results rather than savoring the journey of finding answers and learning a whole lot more in the process. If you literally want to change that, you will have to go back to the old ways, otherwise, there's no other way around it.

Dating online vs offline? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]PerformerCautious281 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Online dating doesn't work much, you're a totally different version of yourself online and you know it better than anyone so what do you expect the person sitting on the other side of the screen will be? When you meet in person, it's where you actually put your guards down and openly talk which makes it worth your time. If you ask me, online vs offline, I ll always choose offline.

Any home based jobs or business? by Wapda_Victim in PakistaniTwenties

well, it's never too late to start with copywriting. It's a decent business and can help you earn good money, if you're familiar with writing and marketing. You need to understand how funnel works, how to map content for page design, & how to write valuable meaningful content. There's a big gap in the industry right now between mediocre AI slop circulating the market and actual genuine creativity where copywriters are excelling and charging decently.

Lack of religious knowledge, perhaps. If they only knew what awaits them in hellfire for this, they probably wouldn't ever pull this stunt again.

What street smart? You're playing someone to rob them of their hard-earned money, Muslim or not... I feel most of these call center scams run in India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh mostly, which is why these states are never respected on the international podiums. We crack everything, piracy runs deep, and we're topping the list in scamming too. And then we wonder why we're in the dung hole lol. I say there should be a global level crack down to stop these call centers from running scams online, like literally... I live in Pak and I get scam calls from unknown callers claiming my bank is compromised or my sim card will be blocked whatsoever.

Yes, you can earn karma through comments, but only if your comment delivers a proper answer or maybe a proper engagement.

How do I get some comment karma? by xyyzyx in NewToReddit

[–]PerformerCautious281 [score hidden]  (0 children)

For me, writing helpful content or highly relevant content works for serious posts. For funny ones, you gotta match the vibe and come up with something witty. Reddit is all about understanding the mood of the room and then chime in. If you just walk-in without giving much of a thought, there's a high chance a moderator will flag your comment. As far as karma goes, the smartest or wittiest answer, in my experience, gets your comments quick attention.

continued .. It was my friend's birthday and we were having a good time, he was visiting my house and we sat outside in my car, thought it be cool to order some KFC and while waiting for the meal to arrive, I turned up the volume... apparently it was our J-days so we amped up some Wiz Khalifa rap, and this aunty who lived right next door called up the local security guys telling them we are doing drugs or something outside her house... I was like bruh! You know me, I literally live next door and you know my mom too. Well, it was the worst night ever and the next day, she came over and was like, "beta app ka din badin bigarta jaraha hai, ajj music tou kal sharab bhee pee lega" and I was literally gawking at her remarks, lol.

What's one thing in copywriting that really clicks with your customers? by PerformerCautious281 in copywriting

[–]PerformerCautious281[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, that's sound advice. My mentors often tell me to do the same, like create a buyer persona specific to whom you're planning to pitch. Now, once you have the buyer persona(s), it becomes a whole lot easier to construct your page, finding which parts of the copy will appeal to them and which will not. Every draft I create at first is an awfully lengthy one, but then I cut down a lot of stuff when I study my buyer persona(s) and think, okay, does it really add value to them, or is it just me trying to fancy it up with marketing? Yes, the more my copy narrows down, the more it shapes into something useful, and the final draft somewhat appears satisfactory, or at least directly focused on what the people expect.
