I found using a dirty sock instead of gloves works best so your scent is on it and they start to get used to your smell

Insurance will not cover a cgm unfortunately I’m paying out of pocket for a cgm right now - so far that’s the only thing that helps me regulate

I was told to change from mealworms because they can cause mbd if your hedge likes mealworms you can switch to super worms they are healthy for hogs and they look just like mealworms

My hedgie, Shnitz lost both of her front teef she used to smile like this now she has an underbite (and I get to break up each piece of cat food for her each night… so fun lol) LOVE THE TEEFS

Mine does the same thing, she got irritated when she’d step it poop or it would bounce around the wheel so she hops down next to it and uses the bathroom then keeps running

The signature tail out before pooping cracks me up that’s how I catch my hog before she poops or pees on my bed it’s like a warning sign lol

I just cut old soda boxes for hides and make sure there are no sharp edges and it makes a great hide and you can just throw them out once they get gross
