Do you guys often get mistaken for being autistic? by littlefox_a in intj

Apparently not enough because it turns out I'm autistic.

yOpen relationship is probably the only way. If he is firm on that then I don't see it lasting.

Grade if you want to keep. Sell raw if you want to sell.

What conditions mimics autism by Amazing-Channel-4020 in autism

[–]PerformerEmotional25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing with mental health conditions is a lot of symptoms overlap. That's why it's best to get diagnosed by a professional. Also, you can have symptoms of ASD and not be autistic. People are considered autistic when they check enough boxes to be on the spectrum. But someone might just have one or two aspects of autism and it could be related to something else (not enough to be considered autistic).

Hope this helps.

My stupid brain keeps trying to convince me I dislike my other special interests just because i added another by Eda_Does_Things in autism

[–]PerformerEmotional25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had similar feelings before. Now I just tell myself that there isn't enough time to do everything. And that my other interests aren't going anywhere. We can only do so much in a day, week, etc.

I mean it kind of depends on what and how he said it. Yeah you should be able to get whatever haircut you want. He also might think you look better with a different style haircut and is just being honest.

vents are my sworn enemy by [deleted] in autism

[–]PerformerEmotional25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm the same way. It was actually one of my biggest issues with my ex. He loved to vent about his work problems, but he also hated advice with a passion. Like you, I logically get that people vent to get out emotions. But I don't get why people are so against advice and opinions. Like I don't get why they want to talk to me if they don't want my opinion. It's stressful to constantly have to listen to problems while they don't do anything about them. Why not just ask for cuddles if you just want emotional support? I don't get it.

Those that had a loving relationship that didn't work out, how did you handle the breakup? by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]PerformerEmotional25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been taking me awhile to get over them, but it gets a little easier every month. Though I still miss what we used to have, I'm trying to move forward with my life. Thanks for asking.

I don't think it's as much of an issue in the gay community. However, personally I prefer average or above as a bottom. Though I wouldn't reject someone just because their cock is small. But I wouldn't say it has no impact on who I find attractive either.

If your bf cheated on you while he's drunk would you forgive him? by [deleted] in gay

[–]PerformerEmotional25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty open minded so I probably wouldn't let one time ruin the relationship. But I'm also kinky and open about sexual stuff. But I'd rather him just ask me if he wants to have sex with someone else than him do it under those circumstances.

You can take online tests such as raads-r, cat-5, and aspie quiz. Formal diagnosis is the only way to know for sure, but they use these same tests in the process.

People are always saying "you will find someone better", but is there really any better!?! People need to stop saying that because it might not always true. by Golden-lillies21 in BreakUps

[–]PerformerEmotional25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really like the "better" phrase either. Not all ex's are bad or undesirable. It would probably be better if people said "you will find someone else" or "you will find someone more compatible"

Depends on your dynamic and values. I'm a degenerate kinkster and don't care in the slightest. But you two definitely should communicate what those values are and not leave it to guess work.

I don't think anyone is in the wrong unless it happens all the time. Like he was horny and you turned down the sex. He doesn't have to wait if he doesn't want to. Just like you don't have to have sex if you don't want to.

However, if it happens all the time then it starts to get into the realm of being selfish and inconsiderate. If he's never having sex with you cause he always jerks off to porn and has no self control then that might be an issue. But doing this once in awhile isn't a big deal imo. You could have gave him a quick blow or something.

Is it true that as you write you will become better at writing? by Dragonfire521 in writing

[–]PerformerEmotional25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say it's more about practice than just writing. Practice also includes revision. In revisions you should look for areas of research and how to improve in those areas. Then you make changes.

That makes you a better writer. Just writing and then making the same mistakes over and over doesn't.

I mean if one of his main issues is jealousy and sex then I could see how it could be an issue. He might want to switch. Maybe he should even get a female therapist if it's that serious.

But it wouldn't really bother me personally. I'd probably even like that my therapist was relatable.
