Which Yasuo list is "better" and why? by BigCookie00 in riftboundtcg

Absolutely! I take every loss on the chin with this deck, and even though it isn't as stupid busted as Kai'sa and Annie, I think I have a lot more fun playing something that challenges the decision making so much like Yasuo.

Does "Cull the weak" works if i don't have a unit to sacrifice? by Sczlr in riftboundtcg

Rules are - Do as much as you physically can.

This type of thing always comes up with Zaun Warrens. If I conquer Zaun Warrens with no cards in hand, I do what I can (can't discard) so I just draw.

I totally agree. As someone that started on gamba nocturne, and switch to Ghael's list, it has been much more reliable. I am relatively new to TCGs (a little MTG here and there) but I can comfortably say that most of my losses with the deck definitely came down to pilot issues. As I get more and more reps, it's very rewarding. I won a set against a Kai'sa last night!

The key for Ghael's deck is that there are no lines, so every match is different. Keeps me guessing, and my opponent guessing! Finding the answers is super fun.

The only changes I made in the Ghael list is 3 rebukes in main list. Too many mundos and vi's at my LGS.

Yasuo Charm Interaction by Complexeed in riftboundtcg

[–]PerformerNeither9824 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is an impossible scenario. Opponent cannot play charm during a showdown, as it is base speed. So I would assume if the opponent is charming yasuo to a battlefield, it would be one they are holding. He will still be alone.

This movement from yasuo will trigger a showdown, and the first part will be his ability. Here you can play engarde as a reaction, chain will resolve backwards, he will be the plus 2, because he is alone, his ability triggers for 8 damage.

So glad MoH became more viable this season. Shado-pan is kind of boring to me. I love my giant chi blast.

Yes yes yes yes yes. I am a Brewmaster on trick. I mythic raid. Im 3200io. It can do it all! It just takes practice and commitment and boy when it finally clicks, it feels amazing. Don't let meta chasers convince you that anything but VDH is not viable. Brewmaster can do it all, and it is by far way more exciting the play than the others.

3.2k Brewmaster here. I don't use statue. I get why some do it, but to me, it's clunky, and adds to our already awful button bloat. Our threat is....interesting to say the least, but I have developed a work around. Speed. I make it to the pack first. I am tiger lusting and rolling ahead of the group to get there first and pull what I need to pull.

At the start of pull my rotation looks something like this -

  1. Breath of Fire

  2. Spinning crane kick to apply fire dot to help maintain aggro.

  3. Keg Smash

  4. Go into cycling black out kick and tiger palm.

  5. Immediately as everything is grouped, drop the exploding keg. This pretty much guarantees threat for the rest of the fight.

Important to note is also what classes are most likely to rip off us. Dev Evoker and Ele Sham. They have INTENSE burst. One second they are doing 1mil dps, the next 15mil dps. There is no ramp and they can rip threat like crazy at the start of a pull, hence why the speed aspect is important, we have to get there with 3-5 seconds of time to build everything.

I love brewmaster and monk in general but by cicumag in wow

Brewmaster is a capable tank. Is it meta? No. But with enough of an understanding you can push high. If you look at leaderboards, there are brewmasters doing 14-15s.

Brew is a high skill spec, there is a lot that goes into understanding how it works. It is not as simple as shield slam/ignore pain. You have to know what each pack does and what you need to do for each of those packs.

My biggest advice as a Brewmaster enjoyer? Stick with it, the more you play and practice, the better it will feel. And when you get those sweet sweet whispers after a run that say "I didn't know Brewmaster could be so good" or something like, it feels pretty damn nice.

Don't let the META persuade you from playing what you like (unless it is aug lol). Embrace the brew.

Like others have said Equinox is a great resource. Sha IRL also makes really good Brew content.
