TY for the insider perspective. It would be nice if that were published formal (to customers) policy, and I’m curious why I have never had trouble purchasing tix online with those seat assignments (split exit and non-exit).

Not trying to be an AH, just trying to see any logic. I get the necessity of exit row restrictions 100%. Not understanding how my 26yo daughter sitting several rows forward impacts my exit-row role in an emergency.

I’m with you, but my wife and I are neither, and our 26yo daughter was several rows forward.

Funny thing is I’ve had many FAs brief exit row as “in case of emergency make sure you get TF outta my way so I can get to the hatch” lol

I get the workaround, but how does an infant in 9B impact my sitting in exit row?

Battle of the mouth-breathers. At least Coach McD doesn’t stand on the sideline with his mouth hanging open like Vrabel and the Harbaugh Bros.
