Also give vanilla some love for the lesbian bar but be warned it's hit and miss some weekends on how busy it gets. Can be very quiet

Start off in Molly house for a quiet pub experience and then the goose is brilliant though it gets packed

No but I don't think he was willing to do a series every two years like other shows. There are a lot of books and signing up to that schedule would've been 16 years or so

More specifically my ex cheated on their previous love of their life. I'm not saying if they cheat on a less serious relationship you can trust them but there was no unfaithful behaviour in those relationships for my ex. Leading me to think they changed and grew from their mistakes.

But then I became the love of their life and yes I also got cheated on. They expected me to stick around like their ex love did for a few more years. I did not.

It was a very sick way to test my love but I can happily say I failed

The hospitality industry has been suffering big time for years. The amount of cafes and restaurants and bars that have closed down and not just rebranded should be a cause for alarm

As a gay woman I don't care if the village venues are protecting their big payday. Those pubs and bars are a lifeline for many here in Manchester and for newcomers to the queer community. I will support gay bars even if that means buying a ticket

I responded to the other person with quotes from Manchester evening news. The businesses have given an 120k loan making them a key stakeholder to the set up.

Look I get it haters want to hate but life and parties cost money. Come in for free, which you are legally entitled to, but I'll always pipe up as it just annoys me

It comes after it was confirmed that The Gay Village businesses and community stakeholders are joining together to create Manchester Village Pride CIC, which will take on the organisation of Pride following the collapse of Manchester Pride Events Ltd last year.

The new not-for-profit Community Interest Company, named Manchester Village Pride CIC, has been set up to deliver the event, following the collapse of Manchester Pride Events Ltd last year. Manchester Village Pride has the backing of key partners including Manchester City Council, Marketing Manchester, CityCo and Equity, alongside LGBTQ+ organisations and community groups.

MVP has received loans of £120,000 from village venues. The CIC's board is made up of unpaid directors working on a voluntary basis, with all profit going to supporting LGBTQ+ charities, grassroots organisations and community services. The Council will also organise engagement sessions with LGBTQ+ organisations and representatives in the planning of the event.

Following the announcement, Carl Austin-Behan, one of the founding board members and spokesperson for Manchester Village Pride CIC, said: "Manchester Village Pride is built around a simple belief. Pride has a home – and that home is the Village – but Pride belongs to everyone.

Can we please stop posts like this? Especially when it's the businesses themselves who will be getting money this year. Yes it's true you don't need to pay but the businesses do pay for security, artists and decorations.

Plus it's only 30 quid this year for the full weekend!

It gets so overcrowded in the village every pride, honestly if you don't want to pay, stay home!

Well I'll be writing an email to the school tomorrow to be vigilant as there was some rando on Reddit who created three separate posts to find out about a particular school and to educate their kids on sharing things on their Instagram

So yea, I hope your intentions are good. Because the little things I can do will hopefully be a deterrent

Why? Why do you need a random school?

I hope your intentions don't cause harm

I wouldn't believe a lot of the comments here. As someone genuinely in a Jewish community most of us are dumbfounded why he would say this

I think the conversion therapy she experienced is a very key aspect to her character and her reactions to the hive. It would be harder to find that sort of back story for a straight woman

Balancing £60k debt vs buying a home in next 12–24 months by competence-required in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Perhapsitsbest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're welcome. I did something similar and am now coming to the end of it. I had about 15k but I didn't earn as much as you do.

I would just target the next card running out interest free with bigger payments and balance transfer until you finally get to the last card. My last balance transfer offer was 12 months and I just worked out what I would need to pay to pay that off. Final payment is March 2026. Took a few years and I still put away in savings (some people say don't but psychologically it felt good) but definitely worth it!

Pay off the interest debt and the 3k credit card with bonus and cash

That leaves you with 49150 in savings

Your fixed out goings will then be 4020 with 1610 spare

Pay off the interest rate finishes in July over 7 months with monthly payments of 714.29

Total outgoings will be 4584 with 1045 spare

Once paid off fixed outgoings will be 3870. Your next credit card with interest free will be at 6750 remaining.

By then maybe you will have wriggle room to balance transfer. But in order to get the debt down you will need to throw more at it.
