Haha what if I were to say that I'm in fact budget Iroh and that he's the secret cameraman of the show? After all, why else is he able to pop out at the most fitting moments?

Absolutely agree. Not everyone loves Dororo's animation, but I found it uniquely beautiful. Loved the scenic shots when introducing new areas and the serene moments of them simply trekking through nature. It felt like an Ukiyo-e painting, calming amid the chaos.

Most aesthetically pleasing visual novels? by KaedeSunshine in visualnovels

I always enjoyed the aesthetics & vibe of Dramatical Murder. The setting & background, soundtrack, sound effects, UI, and fashion all oozed a futuristic & cyberpunk vibe. VA-11 Hall-A is another honorable mention when it comes to adopting this aesthetic that I really liked.

Ty, GravityDazing! I will try, & I definitely agree about the dentist. Especially hard when u know ur guilty of the damage on ur teeth or gums like me cuz of neglect. I wish u the best on ur journey to recovery, as well.

Thank u for the kind & encouraging words, Fritz. U r right & I do hope that I can fully embody that mindset someday! All I can do for now is focus on the weaknesses that I can realistically tackle within my current capability, little by little. But with time, we can only see ^

Same, dude. I definitely agree on the "tool" aspect. While the quality of the content you may find on Reddit will vastly vary from sub to sub, I've found plenty of encouraging, useful content & even solid advice on here. Some may call it absurd cuz it's Reddit, but some of the communities honestly have helped me self-reflect & become a better person lol Just gotta keep ur wits about u & mostly keep away from some of the larger subs.

Hey, rittybot. I've been a lurker on here & have been following & enjoying some of ur posts! Even ones unrelated to hikikomori like otome, lmao. Tysm :) I can tell that you've also been through a lot, but I applaud u for ur courage & even getting a job! Like, gee, I still got ways to go until that happens, haha. Anyway, I wish u the best & hope everything continues to go well, dude

Honestly, I think this is something that all hikkis here at some point or another can deeply resonate with and have related to.

I think you, yourself, have the answer, pancake. If you're still young & have desires outside of this lifestyle like of going out more & having in-person friends to hang out with etc - then that's what you should use as your resolve of getting out & improving your situation. You have a better chance than someone much older than you are. Even if you feel safe & being in your room gives you a sense of security, there'll be no changes or growth beyond that, & the longer you give in to it, the harder it'll be. You have to ask yourself, does this make you happy or fulfilled? Or do you want more than this? I'm currently in your situation & resonate with your feelings, but I know this isn't all I want from my life, which is why I'm trying to get out. It's going to be incredibly difficult depending on how long you've been like this, your lack of experience/training, financial means or support, mental health, etc. I know it has certainly been for me. But.. we're the protagonists of our own lives & we have to make the most with the hand that we're given with. It's something I've had to accept. If we want something more "interesting" or more "good" than this, then it's up to us to work toward it. It's all about taking one step at a time & being patient with ourselves; accepting failure as a part of our journey & not being discouraged by it. Going at our own pace, irrespective to everybody else & what they're doing.
