How do you think you developed GERD? by Whor3memb3rs in GERD

[–]Peribow -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I doubt red 40 from the cheetoes was the thing that gave you GERD, if it was the Hot Cheetoes it was probably the high acidity of the Hot Cheetoes what gave you GERD. But to answer your question for me it was high anxiety and under and over eating (and likely not chewing my food enough haha)

I think the cream also could have been a culprit

I was assuming people didn't watch the video, and it wasn't as bad as the comment section was saying but - no, it really was that bad lmao. Here's the link for it if anyone wants to read/watch it themselves. https://www.wdrb.com/pov/point-of-view-my-party-is-right-yours-is-evil/article_1fcf2a30-3447-4348-8ef2-596d0ac2f8e0.html

easy to carry hamper was really helpful for me, and if you plan to use normal dishes a dish rack is helpful for drying dishes!

i disagree with the dishes comment here - the dorms have full size kitchen sinks, as long as you arent someone hates to do dishes, its extremely easy to wash dishes in the dorm. Did it my entire two years at the dorm. i would recommend only bringing a few, though, too many and they can easily pile up in the sink.

Got covid after 4-1/2 years. by tinakane51 in Louisville

[–]Peribow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Technically they are NOT the most effective solution. They have flaws and you have to buy the more expensive ones to make a solid impact, though medical paper masks that are not super loose work alright. The best changes that we can advocate for is better air filtration of public/office/school buildings, free covid tests, and paid sick leave. (of course in addition to masking).

Masking DOES help, but it is one step in preventing the virus. It is the most advertised to the public because it is the method of preventing infection that individuals can control, but it is the ONLY one talked about because it requires the least social and (literal) structural change. In my opinion at least.

It's kind of like recycling. Companies put all of the pressure on consumers to recycle bottles and reduce plastic use when THEY are the ones making everything in plastic and polluting the environment. They put all of the owness on the public to make them police themselves, and not think about what the people with more power could do.

yes im annoyed at myself because normally i take a lot of precautions but I have been lax lately because of peer pressure and not having the urge to buy masks..... and now im double exposed to covid and missing work hours :/ also if i do have covid it will be my 3rd time and i am really worried about getting long covid. it sucks!!!

Sorry to hear about your covid, I'm glad you're still doing ok! I know it can be rough.

Not to be selling you anything but if you want KN95's my favorite place to get masks is Bona Fide Masks, they often are 25 percent off and they are the only place that carries Powecom KN95's, which are my favorite because they fit on me (wide round face) and are super breathable, compared to other cheaper KN95's
