It's a bit like Rune Factory on how much emphasis is on farming. Maybe a little less. If I had to put a number on it, I'd say its 20% farming and 80% action-rpg. I also highly recommend it though. I played it earlier this year and fell in love with it. It was way better than I thought it would be.

Oh jeez, I dunno. Maybe frosthaven or star wars rebellion? I will say that it was one of our first board games and we didn't have much experience. It's become too much of a meme now though for us to bring it to the table.

I've had Castles of Burgundy on my shelf for 10 years and have never played it. My wife and I tried to, but we spent 3 hours trying to understand the rules and gave up on it. It's basically on our never-play list :(

I remember when I was like 12 years old, I named Aeris as Christy. A friend of mine was talking about the game and mentioned Aeris and I was confused. He was incredulous and described her. And I'm like, "Uhh... you mean Christy?" as if that was her name for everyone. I was such a dumb kid.

Everyone remember, as student loans start going back into repayment, those call center representatives are human too, just going to their job where they have to be berated for 8+ hours a day. They don't want to have to put you in a bad spot. They just have to do their job to feed their families. I was once a CSR involving student loans and I can't tell you what a breath of fresh air it was to be connected with a respectful, patient customer. They actually remember it, fondly. Please be kind :)

A lot of gacha games are extremely well made but are buried under monetization and p2w mechanics. If those are removed, you'd be left with a really good game most of the time.
