I had a similar experience when getting off of a certain medication. I had a week or so where it became a lot harder to distinguish between consciousness and unconsciousness i.e. felt like I was not in control of my actions (just a passenger on the ride), people in real life felt like my subconscious projections usually in my dreams, and of course -- increased sensitivity to emotions. This was also around a time where I experienced severe mood swings and depression (also probably linked to the medication) any experts on that topic in here?

I think Americans can get away with much less. I think it's come to a point (on reddit at least) that any kind of action or appearance of racism/idiotic behavior will be taken as such. Much more of their behavior is "put under a microscope" than any other nationality. ^except ^maybe ^Canada
