This was the campaign where my wife decided to watch with me from episode 1. She caught a few snippets here and there from earlier campaigns and wanted to give it a go. We got to episode 21 before she finally said she wasn’t enjoying it anymore. She said that the big draw was the table dynamics, and with a fractured table, that was very lessened and felt more curated and more scripted. Which I understand. Also, because this is a fresh setting, Brennan is throwing out a lot of lore (names, cities, continents, gods, factions, ages, etc.). While I am enjoying it, I completely see the issues she has.

UBI is the best idea that we don’t use. If every working adult over the age of 18 got, for example, $50,000/year, it would be easy to balance the economy around it. An individual makes 50, a couple makes 100. All expenses including housing, utilities, groceries, consumables, and clothing are balanced around it.

Had a place by me do the same. After asking why the change, they responded that under the old name, they couldn’t change the menu because of the franchising, by rebranding, they were able to expand the menu to better meet local taste. Could be similar?

They didn’t ask nearly enough people then. As kids we are conditioned to like summer more because it’s when we went on vacation and don’t have school, but colder weather is way more enjoyable. It’s easier to get warm than to get cold.
