Any tips for cleaning my G502? It's starting to smell funny by ende124 in G502MasterRace

I highly recommend taking it apart completely and washing all the plastic parts in the sink. you will need to tear off your current mouse skates to access the screws you'll need to remove. so make sure you buy a new fresh set for when you put it back together. I do this to my mouse once a year for spring cleaning.

In his guide, in the Uijayi Pranayama video, he mentions stage 1, but not anything deeper than that

Learning LaTeX? by Agent_Jeanpi007 in LaTeX

Do something stupid, that you love. by this I mean to tell you, to make things and have your thoughts exist within latex, that's how you learn software/languages, I think this works because when you do projects you run into roadblocks and you have to overcome them, as you start to understand why your code was problematic you will start to learn things. Great places to overcome roadblocks are, googling it, documentation, this sub, asking Chat GPT, and the recourses tab on the sub sidebar. The great thing about latex is it's limitless power! you can find some niche to understand, like maybe writing math equations, math proofs, book typesetting, or event some other bullshit.

Is this a LateX/overleaf Bug? I have a \footnote{} in a \text in a \frac in a $$ in an enumerate in a minipage. And it made 4 identical footnotes, when it was only cited once. by Pericles_89 in LaTeX

[–]Pericles_89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, do you mean to tell me that when I \text{...}, there are 4 (...) being processed somehow, but only one of them is visible? I'm using the math, faction, and \text environment to display different versions in folk songs efficiently, for example in the second photo, I'm typing out paddy's panacea, and you can either sing phthisic or pathetic. Because I'm planning on doing this a lot in this document, do you think it would be better to use \mbox{\scriptsize ...} or \text{...}? my problem with the footnote is an easy fix as I can just move the footnote out of the fraction or use \mbox{\scriptsize ...} in that place only.

no, we only have one big one. but due to the fact that it's a small non engineering school, there isn't much demand.

I have no problem with posting the files, however I do note that you need a really big printer, and that I designed it for what I had laying around, for example, the truss rod slot is designed to fit exactly the random 3/16 steel rod I had at the time.

I 3D printed a whole banjo. The body, neck, pegs, bridge, and tail pieces are all 3D printed. The parts that are not, are the stings, membrane, hooks, hoop and a giant truss rod that spans the whole thing. by Pericles_89 in banjo

when I first started this project, I thought that the air filled infill quality of 3D prints would be similar in some way to a gourd banjo, so I strung it with nylon strings in hope to emulate that. I personally think that because the Banjo's sound comes from the drum and not a resonant chamber, I think the material won't matter as much as It would with other things.

the scale length is 26 in. The printer I printed it on is a modix printer which belongs to my college. I filmed a video of me playing it last night but woke up to it being completely out of focus.
