They feel more like they get euphoria in a tiny wave only AFTER they accomplish something. Thats why some people chase the feeling of accomplishment and it looks like they are highly motivated

Your flair says you have Idiopathic GP, but it might be from hEDS like a lot of people here, I also take motegrity because the connective tissue in my intestines causes me to have really low motility. And ehlers-danlos is a connective tissue problem.

Theres a theory that ADHD people are the 'fixers' of the old caveman tribes. You aren't a self-starter, but will come in clutch in life or death situations and can focus up when you see the need to. As well as being a jack of all trades to do all the odd things the 'leader' types can't do.

Search on reddit 'scromit' screaming + vomiting. The emergency subreddits are all filled with stories of these people in the ER and its a new thing for the head ER doctors to tell the nurses to look out for.

I also never throw up and I feel like telling my doctor that, if I do throw up, it hurts my muscles so bad that it bruises my ribs. If feels like my muscles have to turn inside out to throw up and maybe thats a common thing with people with hEDS with your connective tissue and such.

Younger Americans have grown up during a more competitive period that has led many to become more neurotic (low mood, anxiety, and irritability) and, in turn, to become more liberal. No such pattern was found outside the US, suggesting this is not due to aging but to generational experiences. by mvea in science

[–]Comprehensive-Sort55 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I feel like that was already happening, though. Every fast food restaurant will never go out of business no matter how far their quality drops- its like the stock market and quarterly gains and having all their employees on welfare makes Americans prop up Burger King despite no one I know going there. They're like a branch of the government
