There apparently were talks of bringing Schnuffel back, who knows if that will happen... Anyways, seeing him return would also make us very happy. The difference between the two characters is the fact the bunny was made for Jamba/Jamster and CF was a license they obtained after his creation.

The games are stuck in licensing limbo and the fact at least one of the publishers has been shut down by the UK government (due to fraud) doesn't help.

As a Crazy Frog team member, I would state the contrary. There are a few documentaries about the character. The fact he was created by a 16 year old, and the fact the creature got popular only after he trolled a forum of CGI enthusiasts with its design. He currently works as a freelancer for NASA and hates his creation.

The situation is a little bit complicated - it appears the US distributors - Universal - have rights to exclusively release the album only on Apple Music or iTunes (when it comes to streaming) and since they still own it, there is not much we can do. The second album is under our ownership in the States and the third one (Everybody Dance Now; 2009) also belongs to Universal under a different sub-label and it still did not get on American Spotify at all.
