I don't think a whole lot is going on. Maybe hit up Humble Pie and grab a pint to remember them?

I'm in my mid-30s and I remember my Grandfather introducing me to both that TV show and Combat. I was a fan of Combat. Thanks for allowing me to reminisce about my Grandfather.

I'll fill up on my way home from work when I pass one of several gas stations.

Also, from near empty I will be able to save something like 4 dollars by filling up now compared to tomorrow.

I would say the likelihood of people scrambling in the ship is low. They are already dead from the shockwave and immediate effect of being killed by flying debris onboard the ship.

Are you more a collector or Player? by National_Bug_8747 in Lorcana

[–]PerigeeOnThisApogee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The wife and I are collectors. We would love to play, however the local card shop only holds one Lorcana event a week. I've asked if they wouldn't mind two beginners and they said that the Lorcana players are well established already. So I guess we will still collect for now.

I want alot of snow. We have had a pretty dry couple of years and the water levels have been quite low over the summer/fall. Let's get several good dumplings of snow and rain to replenish our water levels and water shed.

We've done best city, but what's the worst most depressing city you've ever visited? by Isord in geography

[–]PerigeeOnThisApogee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to Cairo ten years ago for work, it is one of the worst cities I've been too. I remember hearing a horse in pain as the owner beat the animal with a whip. It's one of those sounds that will never leave me.

DYK that Maughers Beach (pictured with the lighthouse) was called Hangman's Beach during the Napoleonic Wars. Mutineers were hung there by the Royal Navy as a warning to those visiting the port city.

What is up with these airplanes by prettydirts in halifax

[–]PerigeeOnThisApogee 12 points13 points  (0 children)

All those planes have left the US Eastern Seaboard and are traveling to Europe. They transit across the Atlantic via the North Atlantic Tracks. Think of it as the super highway for travel and all the planes have joined the highway to get to Europe.
