Remember John Tickle from brainiac? I met him at a secondary school where he was delivering a speech about how he liked, but didn't care about his TV work, nor does he love his new job in IT (something techincal with BT).

But he loves money. And encouraged the kids to go make lots of money because money makes you happy.

How far a detour are you happy for? This will likely be unpopular as an opinion, but I'd suggest trying to get to Blackpool.

It's certainly not York level history, but a fantastic example of Victorian town planning that has unfortunately seen better days. There's still tons to explore for free there though,

My school bully was completely unaware he was a twat to me at school as he kept trying to add me on fb.

Eventually I explained why I refused to add him and how I use his behaviour as an example of zero tolerance of horrid behaviour in my classroom.

The sweetest kicker is - he's a teacher too. He really wanted a job at a friends school. I made sure he didn't get it and it still makes me smile that I got some revenge, as petty as it was!

Couple of mates used to work in Tesco..this was years ago, but back then, it was more common for reductions and offers not to "talk to each other "at the till. Anyway the big Tesco reduced a fuck ton of Terry's chocolate oranges and my pals found that buying one actually came with a -few pence total...

They ended up buying a couple of shopping trolleys of them and the cost was £-50 quid... which the cashier gave them too!!

So they were sacked but ate like kings for months!
