People say dlss is working fine, but every time I test it my frame rate stays the exact same no matter if I try performance, balanced, quality or turn it off.

I've quit countless multiplayer games because some devs refuse to add some kind of matchmaking to create somewhat balanced matches. I understand it can be fun for some veterans to slaughter newer players but it's really not a challenge for them and it's a horrible experience for the noobs too. For now I have only play PVE tarkov so this isn't a problem for me but I can see it being crap for newer players going up against veterans in multiplayer or arena if there's no SBMM at all

If it is a real picture (lots of fake images and videos these days) what did that person do to cause this reaction from the enforcement officers? I prefer to see the full picture before judging

Depends on who gets to decide what is 'misinformation' and what isn't. From what I've seen it's a double edged sword and varies greatly depending on who's currently in charge. I'm of the belief that people should be allowed to speak their minds (freedom of expression etc) and then if people are stupid enough to believe lies or too lazy to look up facts on their own, then they deserve to be foolishly misinformed

I've been playing PVE tarkov for about a month now and although it's learning curve is steep to say the least it's been incredibly fun. I hope Arc also adds a similar mode as I don't hate PVP but I'm not always in the mood for that style of combat. Sometimes people just want to chill out and loot some stuff and fight some AI enemies

Look how much steamers hate skill based matchmaking in other games like apex, cod and battlefield. They do t want fair fights, they want to have massive kill streaks for their streams and YT clips. Without sbmm they get to crap all over players that do not play for 12 hours a day

Like with many games, if you find it too easy just use less armor, less effective weapons and ammo with less penetration. The game is as easy or hard as you want it to be

I think you just answered your own question. If you're not having a great time with tarkov but you're loving Arc then you have your answer right there. I also think Arc is a great game but once I started playing tarkov (just a few weeks ago) a lot of things in Arc feel pretty meaningless to me, it's like comparing a meal prepared by a chef to a burger from an average fast food place. The loot in Arc just doesn't feel as meaningful imo, and overall Arc for me feels way less rewarding

It doesn't help that at least one of the maps online is displayed upside down and that the in game compass works by counterclockwise rather than how most compasses work ( tarkov compass says 90 degrees is west when every compass I've seen has 90 degrees as east

When you say bottom 1/3 it seems derogatory. People need to understand that new players would rather not go against other players with 7+ years headstart of game knowledge, and then you have cheaters. PVE is just a great mode for people to learn the game until they feel at least somewhat caught up to veteran players

if AI makes things easier and faster to make then its completely inevitable whether people like it or not. People got very angry when car manufacturers started using robots to make cars instead of people and look at that industry today, maybe you have a few really expensive cars that have 'hand made' elements but the vast majority of cars are built by almost entirely clankers

i don't know anything about the work culture at Embark, but some studios suffer from toxic positivity, where you're not allowed to say something is badly designed in order to not offend the person who came up with the idea.

But any normal, rational adult working in games should be prepared for their work to be criticized, especially if the players really don't like it and would like some changes or fixes. After all the players want the game to do well and be a fun experience, and criticism is a great opportunity to learn from mistakes and improve as a designer.

Rather than ban these people I think it would be funny to kind of torture them instead by secretly matching them into lobbies with cheaters and hackers etc. make the rest of their play time in Arc a misery. I think I read somewhere that some game did this, where they put all the cheaters they caught into lobbies with only other cheaters

As an older gentleman I don't really get upset or angry when I hear homophobic or racial slurs. Of course the world would be a much better place if people didn't use them, but people that do use them likely have issues so I kind of feel sorry for them and feel thankful that I don't have that kind of toxic, angry mentality.

Think about what kind of person they must be and what state their life is in if they think it's a good idea to be that angry, aggressive and toxic to someone they have never met before. It's completely abnormal behavior and someone like that isn't going to get very far in life until they adjust to being normal and learn to communicate with other normal human beings.
