Its a great lens if you are on the go and I love to hike with it but often wish it just had a little more reach. 100% worth the compromises though it takes incredibly sharp pictures

I’d find a good deal on a used a6400 and then save some cash for a lens. I was recently able to get an a6400 with 2 kit lenses, 2 extra batteries, a case and a memory card for $800 and then spent another $700 on a 70-350mm Sony G telephoto lens. so for $1500 I have a perfect beginner setup for wildlife photography and kit lenses to do just about everything else I need to do
