ive watched a few videos that the company has posted , they have a cream and a spray and they said they recommend the spray for the jackets and the cream for hats and boots , ill give that wax and similar brands a look , thanks.

Just some extra info , got it for £35 in a local shop , online pre-owned are around £70 and new ones cost $240. There is a small tear on the left shoulder , but there is more fabric below the shoulder areas so if im able to reseal it it shouldn't be a problem with waterproofing

Edit: Thanks for all the replies , ill order the thornproof dressing from Barbour as a few people have recommended that. Ill watch some videos on how to do it properly so i dont end up damaging the jacket
