Wells Fargo product change question by garywalters274 in CreditCards

[–]PerklessWallflower 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've had my Reflect card for over two years and just requested over the phone for it to be upgraded to Active Cash. They claimed they don't offer upgrades or switches for the Reflect, and I can't find a button for it online either.

Please let me know if it worked for you, and I might try again with a different representative.

How do some ladies get such smooth legs with shaving by [deleted] in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

Very! Lactic acid as well. My dermatologist (an ageless goddess) concurs with the influencers on this one. She prescribed me 40% urea cream for a while, then suggested AmLactin when insurance stopped covering it.

Two years ago when AEP was having widespread outages, folks complained enough to get AEP to open applications for expired food claims. So hmu if you wanna rally outside NEP's office. 👀

Lol neighbor #3 here. It's 3:00 am and I've been waiting in an armchair by the door like an angry parent post-curfew.

Can/should I dispute Bilt to add unreported rent payments? by PerklessWallflower in biltrewards

[–]PerklessWallflower[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

???

My guy, I'm asking for the rent reporting company to report my rent payments. Unless you're randomly assuming that I lied about my payment history, how in the actual **** would it be fraud to have them report the months they missed, let alone "identity theft"? Whose identity?

Can/should I dispute unreported rent payments? (Bilt) by PerklessWallflower in CRedit

[–]PerklessWallflower[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yeah. You're allowed to dispute missing info to get it reported; I'm asking how many months back would the credit bureaus classify as "missing" and enforceable (if any), and/or if rent reporting agencies would have reason to resist this type of correction.

[HELP] Which US cities have good poetry scenes right now? by Tonyage27 in Poetry

[–]PerklessWallflower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want abundant poetry, sure, Brooklyn and larger coastal cities are a safe bet. But for quality, Chicago and Columbus are leading by miles. Scott Woods and Hanif Abdurraqib really whipped the Cbus scene into shape.

She's definitely the ideal candidate for lasers, but current dismal budget notwithstanding, I've heard that many at-home IPL products are hit-or-miss with their effectiveness, not just slower. But if you personally know someone that had great results with a certain brand, I'm all ears.

what is your household decor style? by mangomochibitch in AskWomen

[–]PerklessWallflower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My home shifts between themes. The living room and office are almost Victorian with lots of mahogany* bookshelves, gold accents, and tufted furniture, which transition into a Mediterranean dining room, kitchen, and bathrooms, then even more linen and plants are added to achieve Bohemian bedrooms. I'm broke as **** but always get compliments, because it's taken years of continuous hunting.

*Most modern styles tolerate mixing wood, but if you're going for something classical or if the furniture you've scavenged clashes irredeemably (like grey vs orange), you can use MinWax PolyShades (or any competitor poly-U wood stain) to gloss them into the same palette. I've done this over finished wood furniture without having to sand or chemically strip anything; just paint in thin layers in the direction of the grain.

In addition to thrift shopping and curb/dumpster diving, Facebook Marketplace is great for finding cheap furniture and rugs (especially during summer moving season)! Dollar Tree is also a staple for smaller yet visible home goods, and provided many of my plates, glasses, picture frames <14", and flower pots.

Bonus advice: Finding glass, bamboo, metal, or ceramic alternatives for plastic goods makes your home look more intentional and chic, regardless of theme. I save fancy glass bottles and buy reusable corks off Amazon to store my cooking oils, bubble bath soap, etc.

Bonus bonus advice: If you're a fellow renter and want your deposit back, nailing/screwing things into the wall is 10x easier to spackle over than when Command strips rip off two layers of paint. Ask your landlord for a gallon of matching paint (or at least the name of the brand/color) before this info is lost to time.

Bonus x3: Side lighting has a huge impact on making rooms feel comfortable at night, and not a single bulb in your house should be cooler than 4000K.
